Mate, I just cannot find anything positive to say.
I appreciate you remaining optimistic but I can't do it.
We are done. Dusted. Toasted. Its over.
The Dragons of the last few weeks wouldn't have beaten any NRL team. We are going sideways. No go forward.
I honestly doubt we will win the last month of footy against the teams outside the eight, prepare yourself for a tough month of footy, hope I am wrong, I often am!
Crush,

It’s not so much that I’m optomistic it’s more about it’s a game of footy mate. Anything can and will happen. That’s why I love the game.

We can still beat the lot of them this year - right up to the grand prize.

Sure I’m dissapointed with the last month or so of footy, guttered actually but there’s plenty of bad shit going on in the world, here in our land of plenty and in some of our personal lives as well.

Spare a thought for West Coast Dragon and it really isn’t so bad after all, and like WCD I’m not chucking the towel in just yet. I’ve seen some great Dragons footy this year unlike the last several years and hope we can see some more of that.

Despite what we think of our coaches (and it’s not just Mary) I’m confident we’ll play finals this year, we have some exceptional players and it’s a different ball game then.

Go Dragons.

Know the feeling, mate.

After today’s effort and that of all our recent losses...... l have lost all confidence in our team for the remaining season.

Regardless of what happens now, we are not contenders ..... and we should be.

Name me one other team where all there Star Origin players turn to sh!t there after.
None!
Only at the Dragons can we flop as badly as we continue to do.

Everything points to one person, regardless of what we think of him, everything!
I agree with you...as i said earlier you could tell after 3 mins of kick off we hadnt been prepared Again for this match.....and what really gives me the shits is The Warriors played crap for most of the game...we had a glut and of possession and penalties inside their 20 in the second half and still lost the games......anyone that thinks we can compete with the top teams from here on in are in for a nasty shock....I must admit since arriving back from overseas im totally shocked with what I witnessed today

Mate, we've all been saying it and you've probably seen it on here for weeks now.
They just are'nt turning up anymore.
Its been the same old downward spiral sort of stuff as always. We have all seen the movie a few times now, unfortunately.

Hazz, hope you’re wrong too mate.
I’m hoping a lot more now than I was ‘expecting’ a few weeks ago.

Good post as always mate, and fairly good read on the game. I am not confident Nene will be back next week but I agree Pereira needs to keep his spot over Nightingale.
Not convinced we can win the grand prize but there is no point in saying we are done for the year when this game has a way of fooling you with its many twists and turns. Fair to say we will really struggle from outside the top 4 and today we couldn't take a great opportunity to stay up in there.

The game can fool us but its us we are talking about .

Agree.
It will be a struggle from here on in especially if Vaughan is gone

Referees gave us penalties as they were due but missed the elbow and gave them a penalty when they needed it.

The first half was more of a concern. A few penalties doesn’t change so many slow play the balls. Same game plan as first time against us. This is not how other games are officiated.

Yes they are not combining well and that was discussed through the week. Saying the same thing now isn’t anything new. Warriors were lucky Dufty decided to hold RTS back.

Also how is a strip by RTS over the line on Lafai anything other than dropout? Missed the strip on Vaughn in that ugly tackle. So many poorly refereed incidents.
If the clown would have ran to the left & dived low at the line instead of trying to run over him we wouldn't be asking about the strip. I would have hooked him on that dumb move alone.

Watch how deep Souths were standing last night and the speed they hit the line at, it’s called momentum. Our forwards are flat and then often stop to catch the ball , result no momentum. The most fired up I’ve seen Sims recently was when he was elbowed in the neck. Absolutely disgraceful performance and it’s starts with the coach and his assistants.
You can only stand deep in attack when you have speed to make up the ground required, unfortunately our outside backs lack that.

Give us a coach that knows what to do and get these capable players firing when it matters.

Hate to say this but that is the only ray of hope the Dragons may have for next season .
With a number of other coaches on the market in 2019 the Dragons may be able to puss off Mr. Ineptitude and catch one of those who can actually get his players up for a game - in ability and that will to win at all costs .[/QUOTE]
This is basically a cut & paste from last year's forum & didn't happen & unfortunately won't happen again, even if we lose all remaining games.
