Disgusting refereeing performance. Slowest play the ball all year then we get penalised for leaving early.

Two weeks in a row. A high tackle stops a try and nothing more than a penalty.

The last plays in this game were the killer. We literally self-sabotaged in that last 15 minutes. We had every right to snatch this game and we didn't. Hunt needs to seriously work on his kicking game because his bombs are always too deep.

We also need to identify what works for us. We scored two tries back to back playing direct, had all the momentum, dominating them up the middle.... Then we just went back to this side to side, out the back plays bullshit that was the whole reason we were behind in the first place. So disappointing. Widdop and Hunt need a wake-up call.

Sorry mate but no wake up calm will help us.
We have not advanced 1mm in 6 years since Bennett left.

Ive been pumping up this team all year - but today was totally unacceptable - there need to be wholesale changes next week starting w Aitken and Nightingale...Also hopefully the board is talking to Bennett because Mcgregor is showing that he has no clue how to get this team up when it matters most - if you cant get a team to play to preserve their hopes of a minor premiership at home then the players aren't listening anymore and they dont believe what the coach is telling them...

Hunt especially has been diabolical the past few weeks in defence.

The amount of times he's been caught in no mans land or been easily bumped off a tackle is ridiculous.

And yet, many isolate Nightingale only.

The combination of Hunt and Aitken is just as bad. Put the three next to each other and it’s a recipe for disaster.

Thing is, I’m not even angry anymore. I simply can’t shake seasons past so in a way the inevitability of this doesn’t come as a surprise.
Where to from here? Team list Tuesday won’t offer much. We’ll get the usual ‘do it for the fans’, ‘stick solid’ mid week cliches & go through it again next weekend.

Rather than blame individual players...the buck stops with the coach...there were many who were poor today, but the coach is playing guys who are not 100% and its back firing again....he should have given guys like Lawrie/sele/Host etc longer minutes months ago so that guys like DeBelin/frizz/Graham could be fresh........Line speed was slow...attacking options Poor ....Right edge has been an issue for 2 years...

I think we will win the remaining games.
I hope Jason P retains his spot and if MacDonald plays he takes Nighty’s place.
