As long as you keep going all BunniesMan on us, that's fine.

However, I do have a query which I require all on this forum to participate in and it involves a forum member's attendance or not ...

Medievalknight's last match he saw live at the ground was the Raiders match in Round 14, he's missed all games since and there has only been one exception where we lost (the Souths game).

So the question is whether or not he should be allowed to attend the match on Saturday :sarcasm:

Inact a similar ban like the one we have for you at Suncorp? :-k

Any hoo, Dogs by 30 at least. Knights to show themselves to be true pretenders next week

Snowden can't be too far off?
I think they originally said it was a 4-6 week injury and he's missed four games and they may have pencilled in the Sharks game, but if not that one the Manly game the following week. Could be wrong though.

And Ian, no they won't be wearing the special indigenous jerseys.

Got other things pre-game for Close the Gap round.

The knights are the benchmark, it's going to be hard for us to beat them, especially since they're also our boggie team.

I just hope we can be competitive against the premiership favourites.

Just another angle on things. The fact that we've already beaten them once already this season could be a double edged sword. Knowing that we've beaten them once before means we know we can beat them and know what to do, but at the same time could that be false confidence? I hope they know that the Bulldogs had an off day when we beat them.

Food for thought.

From memory I thought we were pretty good that day and I don't believe the Dogs were that bad. A good game plan was executed well.

Sorry Ian, but that food for thought was about as filling as a tic tac.

We're going up against the competition favourites that are sitting outright first on the ladder, the team coming off the back of 9 straight victories, and you're worried that our guys might be overconfident because they beat them over 4 months ago all the way back in Round 4?

Thought id paste this in here as well to add further hype.

We've now won 5 of our past 6, the last time we did that was between April and May of 2009 where we won 6 of 7 during rounds 4 to 10.

Here's the ladder if you count the last 6 rounds (excluding Broncos and Eels - counting their past 5)

Team Played Won Draw Loss For Agn Diff Pts Avg For Avg Against Avg Diff Win %
1st Bulldogs 6 6 0 164 86 78 16 27.3 14.3 13.0 100.0%
2nd Rabbitohs 6 5 1 176 94 82 14 29.3 15.7 13.7 83.3%
3rd Knights 6 5 1 164 97 67 14 27.3 16.2 11.2 83.3%
4th Titans 6 4 2 144 110 34 12 24.0 18.3 5.7 66.7%
5th Cowboys 6 4 2 137 117 20 12 22.8 19.5 3.3 66.7%
6th Sea Eagles 6 3 3 156 138 18 10 26.0 23.0 3.0 50.0%
7th Raiders 6 3 3 148 148 0 10 24.7 24.7 0.0 50.0%
8th Dragons 6 3 3 104 120 -16 10 17.3 20.0 -2.7 50.0%
9th Sharks 6 2 1 3 94 120 -26 9 15.7 20.0 -4.3 33.3%
10th Warriors 6 2 4 135 110 25 8 22.5 18.3 4.2 33.3%
11th Broncos 5 2 3 58 72 -14 8 11.6 14.4 -2.8 40.0%
12th Eels 5 2 3 83 120 -37 8 16.6 24.0 -7.4 40.0%
13th Panthers 6 2 4 115 155 -40 8 19.2 25.8 -6.7 33.3%
14th Roosters 6 1 1 4 124 182 -58 7 20.7 30.3 -9.7 16.7%
15th Storm 6 1 5 86 144 -58 6 14.3 24.0 -9.7 16.7%
16th Wests Tigers 6 1 5 116 191 -75 6 19.3 31.8 -12.5 16.7%

We are equal 2nd best attacking team WITH the Dogs and only 12 points less than the Rabbitohs. 4th best defense over those 6 games. 83.3 win %.

I know we've taken this all step-by-step week-by-week and maybe the opposition hasn't been the best. BUT we're right up there with the top dogs (pardon the pun). I think it's time to genuinely get excited again about season 2012.

Hodkinson breaking his leg in the first half didn't help their cause. We played well but the dogs were far from their best.

Looking forward to this game, this will be a true gauge of how we are really travelling. Hope we put in a good effort.

Dogs by 20.

I didn't think we'd win last week and I don't think we will this week or any other week for the rest of the year. Including Grand Final day against Souths.
