He is short and that is his biggest issue.

Talent, grit and speed wise he is right up there IMHO

Pretty well same thoughts as me , I thought he could slot in for Lawrence , certainly has speed and a is a solid bugger as well.

Assuming we lose this one, which looks highly likely at halftime with Parra ahead, what are our chances of getting the spoon? We probably won't win another game this year. If that's the case, Parra only need to win two games to leapfrog the Tigers. They have Brisbane, Melbourne, St George and Newcastle to come. They're a chance of beating Brisbane and St George. I think two wins will be beyond them but we won't know until the second last round. Even if the Tigers starve off the wooden spoon it will still go down as our worst season on record. Injuries, a rookie coach and a poor squad aside, the players have shown a complete lack of application and discipline. Apart from the Melbourne game they've been hopeless with their wins coming against abject opposition.

This is a new low even for us. Expect to see Bejgi, Ashifed and Canatsa selected again next week though. Potter's job is on the line, I wish he would show some balls and turf them all.

Altho not an excuse at least 5 ref calls were a f**king disgrace . Also ill probably be criticized but i thought Benji put in tonight in most areas except the same old not running enough.

True, Jake.always puts in and is a quality player.

Jake is a very good player when he is on. Reminds me of hodgson. Can really hurt you if you give him room and roamed well tonight. But his defense leaves a lot to be desired though

What is it with refs, how they see things differently to every body else?I'd bet if Jennifer Hawkins walked past in a bikini 99 out of 100 blokes would say how hot she was, those two clowns tonight would fall in the other 1 percent band and label her an old boiler!

Just watched the interview on Fox of the news conference after the game. A reporter asked Potter was he likely to be there next week, to which Potter replied, "Yes". Did anyone else notice the smirk on Benchys face? I think that said it all!

Benji really seems to dictate what happens there. If he's not happy minor else is allowed to be happy either. Probably a good thing he's pissing off! I always thought Hayne was like that but he seems to have matured with the captaincy and in the press conference he sacrificed his favoured position to play five eight for the good of the team. Its a bit big noting himself but its true at the stage he is more valuable in the line than at the back where he gets his hands on the ball more. Mullaney picked up with Hayne there.

Benji on the other hand just seems disinterested and seems like he doesn't give a shit

After Benji having quite a long career, you would think the f**kwit would understand the right tackling technique. But no. Worst defender in the game.
I can't wait until he is gone.

Fantasizing.... but how good would it be to bring Hayne back to his Campbelltown team at 5/8, partner him with Brooks, and have Tedesco running off his breaks. I know Benji was a freak on his day. But Hayne is close to the worlds best player on his. If Parra won in 09 Hayne would have cemented himself as a bigger legend then Benji...

Its frustrating to think how some teams can have players like Inglis, Burgess, Reynolds and Sutton or Smith, Cronk and Slater on decent coin, but we laugh at the idea of being able to afford any more marquee players over Farah thanks to how we handle our money

If we ever got hayne, which we won't, he would be fullback. I like teddy but he needs to learn the ropes a bit more in reserve grade. He is extremely courageous and safe, he just needs to learn how to chime into a backline better and become a ball player or he won't last in the top grade.
