Yeah anyone can talk to a team and tell them how important defence is, getting a bunch of teens to really buy into is the hard part.

2015 and 2016 when Ciraldo was head coach of the NYC team we let in 434 points and 382 points respectively, which is an average of 15.9 and 18 points conceded per game.

In 2015, the Cowboys let in 450 points but the next closest was the Warriors with 562.
In 2016 no one was even close. The next best defensive team let in 520 points (we let in 382).

Ciraldo played his whole career in the forwards so it makes sense for him to be a strong coach in defence.

That is actually a good thing. Robinson, Siebold, Flanagan and McGuire weren't great players either.

Gus has said that those sort of players make good coaches as they understand players needs more.

Gus himself wasn't an elite player from what I remember of him in the 80's. Solid but not a star.

This will probably sound crazy but has anyone noticed all the boys took their cornrows out this week and have their big ass hair out again. Anyone think Hook tried to make them cut their hear so they braided it instead?

I thought they only had it out for training but you might be right. I like it when their hair is out because a few times on the weekend I thought waqa was CHN and chn was Fisher
