Why would you waste a talent like Gillett on the wing when he is such a good defender and should get the ball as much as he can with his ability to offload.

I guess the three of them will rotate out there on the left for most of the match.

dunno why you'd play gillett on the wing. he wouldnt let us down but thats about as smart as moving locky to wing. personally i'd bring in kemp, but if he wasnt available for some reason i'd put glenn on the wing and te'o into the centres (or gillett)

Kemp can barely survive a Queensland Cup game.

I personally would've promoted Gagai for a game.

We have Norman/Beale/Cooley im sure they would be better options on the wing at tis stage of the season this is a do or die game for us. I think that this may come back and bit us in the butt. Does anyone think Hodges is ready to go yet as they said on fox-sports he trained yesterday as well but Ivan said about 2 weeks away.

Hodges has travelled with the team so who knows, we all might be in for a surprise tonight

Copley is out for the season, Norman is a five eigth and Beale isn't really up to first grade as a winger.

Will be lucky to get a run this year really.

Not sure if it will be worth bring him in unless someone in the backline (like Folau) gets injured.

So what. He is a specialist winger, pick him. Or pick another specialist winger, not a lock playing on the wing!

LOL. A second rower seemed to go pretty well on the wing tonight huh?

3. Gillett - the everywhere man. Glad to see Brisbane have locked in his next contract.
2. Lockyer - despite some rookie mistakes, his kicking was pinpoint perfect. From his kickoff dropped by Payne, to his wrong footed kick to Bowen in goal.
1. Parker - solid as usual.

Yeh I agree Grimey,

Gillett still firing. No one else really stood out. Teo had a good game back from injury. Hope locky's injury isnt too bad. We will really need hom against parra.

3. Gillett
2. Izzy
1. Parker

I'm gonna plagiarise your points Frank, because I agree with all of them and it was another good team performance.

3. Gillett
2. Lockyer
1. Parker

In addition to that I thought Wallace played alot better tonight and his kicking game was great. Found space plenty of times. I must also commend McGuire and Anderson especially of the bench tonight. They brought alot of energy with their aggressive runs. Since Anderson's come back onto the bench he's been really good actually.

Will be very hard to leave out one of our forwards when Winterstein comes back next week.

Agree with that aswell. Anderson did get some go forward, and McGuire doesnt take a backwards step either.

On another note. A bit harsh binning Thaiday. There was plenty of other in b4 him. The only player that deserved a rest was James Tamou (sp)
How was the call from that one ref or touchy, saying that without Thaiday or watts there would have been nothing in it. Hmmm, yeh watts started it, but It was well and truly on before sammy came in.

I dunno why Kenny is spending so much time on the bench.. but Anderson and McGuire were very good tonight. The cowboys were getting away with a lot of cheap shots in the tackles, particularly to the head, I think Locky even copped a bit when he was injured in that tackle.

3. Gillet- Can perform anywhere on the field. Throw him into the halves next week if lockyer is out :D
2. Lockyer- Its Lockyer. Not much else needs to be said.
1. Parker- Solid like usual.

I think it was a good team performance tonight. Let a couple of soft tries in at the end of the game which will need to be addressed come finals time. That might have just been fatigue after last weeks win.
Thaiday dropped a few easy balls tonight. Looked a bit off his game, but what a move to put Falou in for his second try. Pure class.
Just on McCullough. I think he has some brain snaps. I said it last week about him kicking on the third close to the line. He done it again tonight this time when we were in the midfield. I think it was the wrong decision at the time. It wasnt needed. Just leave the kicking up to Wallace and Lockyer abd kick only if its the last resort. Just my opinion.
