What? You just play Burton at centre, drop momo entirely and straight swap Salmon, Cleary after 60 - 65 minutes.

You don't need Salmon in if Cleary plays though because you have Burton in the starting side. Tago could do the switch with Cleary in that scenario

Not injured, club put out the injury update today and no mention of Charlie. Only new addition is Spencer who has an ankle injury, expected to miss a couple weeks. Brian looks to be coming along nicely, hopefully can get him back for the finals.
It would be nice to get back to full strength. All our major rivals seem to have less issues than we do.

Which is why I am not worried about the current form. Come Finals time hell even next week our side will look so much different

Would much prefer Crichton defending next to Nath. He can trust Capewell and Crichton to make tackles without uneccesarily risking himself. Momo less so.
I’d prefer Naden, Burton, Crichton, May with Momo on the bench as cover for Burton to go into the halves. Need Tago in the forward rotation this week. Better yet give Smith a bench spot, Tago utility and piss Momo off.

This has been a rather underwhelming season for Spencer.

I really expected to see him develop his game further this season but it just hasn’t happened. Is it coaching, lack of coaching, I don’t know but for such a talented prospect it has been a disappointing season. He is only young, time is is on his side so hopefully we see him start to show what he is capable if in 2022.

If that leaked team is for real. It would mean Brent Naden has become our best fit winger in 4 games and only one of those as a winger.

I can only assume Ivan must think defence won't matter this week with such crazy changes.

It is the coaches choice to put him on after the 3 other bench guys have came on. So it is all part of developing him

Yeo was replaced in the 17 by Salmon and Kenny was struggling through fatigue v Broncs and still Ivan didn't put Salmon on. so it will take desperation to play him

I don't believe that's the 17. I was just saying Salmon allows the rest to remain the same. Tago rotates with Kikau instead of Burton.

Well they haven’t done Spencer’s development in 2021 any good from what I have seen.

Remember he was going to be dropped to NSW Cup only for the NRL guys to not be selected? He then missed 2 more games. So alot of it is just the circumstances

It was not unreasonable to expect Spencer to improve significantly this season. Either he isn’t as good as most of us believed, still young for a middle forward or he has been poorly coached. I don’t know what has gone wrong but something clearly has.

He is ave 23min a game. It is hard to do much from that

Even Hopgood is ave more a game

Spencer is currently playing like Joe Vagana.

Unfortunately it isn't 1999 and can't be subbed every other set.

So is Charlie injured or rested?

Cant see any logic why he would be dropped after playing every game thus far this season. May had a solid debut and is one for the future, not sure this would be the time to bench Charlie even if he hasn’t been great. It’s not as if he can find form in NSW Cup.

I think I’ll wait for the official team announcement before making too many statements but I just dont see the leaked side as being realistic.
Peter Lang, the WW reporter, tweeted that he was dropped. Considering he's followed by the club on Twitter, you'd think he got it from a reliable source and not hearsay/chinese whispers.

It's his first full year of NRL. Charlie needs a 'freshen up'.
