I think the thing that annoys me is that was probably our last chance to snag one more win for the season our next 4 games are Eels, South's, Storm & Warriors and I cant see us coming close in any of those games so our F/A will or go down into the negative 200's and if the Tigpies can snag a win or two we will be right back in the mix for the spoon as they have a couple of games they could definitely win IMO.

Don't worry Dave, my Tigarrs have just about got the spoon wrapped up. I hope Sheens makes them all choke on it.
As much as I dislike DCE, 300 games is a huge achievement and he should be congratulated. Whether or not one likes or dislikes him we should recognise his achievements.

It was like the old days find a reason ANY reason to disallow a saints try
Spot on...and I still think if a ref is not sure if a try has been scored or not (that's obvious because hes sent it to the bunker) then he shouldn't be allowed to cross his arms and say I have no try.....imo that action and statement gives the bunker every opportunity to find a reason to support the ref and disallow the try

I'll criticise our attack.
I'll criticise Matt Feagai.

But apart from that decent effort, sucks losing but they had a dig.

Oh and I'll criticise the officiating absolutely diabolical.
I thought Billy Burns bombed some chances on the left edge by holding onto the ball and taking the tackle.
I thought we left 3 tries out there apart from Dan Russells legitimate try

That’s a bloody great press conference from Carr. Absolutely spot on.
I was calling for Carr’s head during the game because of his persistence with Feagai but that press conference gives me a lot of confidence in him. It is actually very refreshing to hear someone from our club openly stand up to the NRL regime. I think it is healthy for a coach to speak their mind in that way. Won’t gain any media attention of course we are just the Dragons…

"Won’t gain any media attention of course we are just the Dragons"
The Dragons created two sides way way back in all those innocent years of success the lovers and the haters, somehow over the decades the haters have prevailed in positions of authority, I have been following the Dragons since the late 70's.
The Wayne Bennett era (the man has huge influence) was the only period where the Dragons came on top, Judiciary, Refereeing and Media,
Examples-
1985 St George lost the Grandfinal to the Bulldogs from a blatant forward pass, Dogs 7-St George 6.
1996 Grandfinal Saints found themselves playing a red hot Manly side, the WWF at the time made sure Manly were not going to lose.
"Mathew Ridge incident".
1998 semi final Loss to the Dogs, OMG where do I start, lets just says the Ref needed a Police escort from KO!
1999 Grandfinal St George came out superfast leading 18-4, with 20 minutes to go, Choc could have sealed the deal for Dragons and the flood gates would have opened up for a big win for the Red V, but instead the ref decided to make a comeback for the NRL(WWF) Salary cap cheaters, every 50/50 call went against the Red V, a blatant forward pass started the comeback and the first penalty try in Rugby League history ended it. Well played Ref, man of the match and BTW St George didn't need to merge, the haters keep reminding me we have only won 1 premiership.
The beautiful journey still continues

Our lack of speed on each wing is a major problem

Hunt is currently in Disney land, offers very little in attack

We lack the punch up front to take control of the game

Lack fitness

Dumb and Penalty prone

Simply a very ordinary side that beat itself

Clearly beat ourselves
Its amazing the players Dragons have let go, Garrick and Saab (real SPEED), Jackson Ford playing very well for Warriors, Host at south Sydney. The list goes on. Ford is better than any of the current forwards at the Dragons.

I know a lot on here keep saying sack Sloan although I think he’s slowly getting better and he’s always good for a try or two and he has the X factor. A preseason under flanno and intense physical work might well see him achieve his potential next season.
And one word on Casy Badger
She was a hopeless touchie
A hopeless ref
And now a totally incompetent bunker ref
She needs to be removed and sent to the under 8’s to learn the game!

We didn’t let Saab go. If you remember correctly he couldn’t cope with the long drive to Wollongong. Apparently he was fine with the equally long drive to Manly though. He’s fast but has a heart the size of a pea.

Not a big fan of Saab although he will have the odd good flashy game like last night.
Garrick was a huge blunder as was Robson and they were always touted big time as juniors coming thru ??
Look at the bunnies lineup half of them are ex Dragons wtf…

Not sure on him , we got rid of a guy that was our top try scorer, most try assists, most line breaks , and scored some great individual tries , but let him go , and who I thought was a better player than Sloan , Dufty ...... So do we keep persevering , and hope in the off season Flanno can do something with him , or is the writing on the wall with Lomax training as a fullback ....... Time will tell .......
