So the only time the sharks started to get momentum in that game and fire up was when bedsy went off for 10 minutes. When he came back on we regained control. f**k I love Bedsy.

Mullen was unbelievably good. I'm always quick to criticise him, so here I am just to say Jarrod, you were freakin superb tonight in every single facet of the game.

Of course his running game was a highlight, but it was more the controlling of the game and his selective kicking and passing that I loved.

Fantastic win all round. Forwards aimed up big time and the defence back on the inside was top class all night.

Clinical effort. Two bombed tries by Kevvy. Didn't Willie blow up when he dropped the offload! Manly are very beatable if we can go with them in the first 20.. Go Dogs as they have the Tigers. Sharks are in big trouble.

Mullen showed Carney what a rep 5/8 looks like.

Carney showed everyone what 'worst on ground' means. As he has done 3 of the five times i have seen him this year.

Congrats on the win boys. Great stuff.

That said, the Sharks were tripe. The team they beat last week got 50 put on them. Very poor form line.

Manly will be out to punish us for the touch up they got a few weeks ago at Newcastle. Williams has done nothing the past month. Glenn Stewart is still unfit and just doing enough. Their halves are just starting to warm to the task. Some of those blokes are due a big, big performance.

It will be a massive reult to get the points at Brooky.

Cherry Evans and Foran's straight attack will suit our defence as we are very adept at umbrellaing the support runners at the line. Bulldogs got us by passing at or before the line through the forwards. We contained Barba well. The offloads against us are my biggest concern. We go up against a very mobile pack on Sunday.

Agreed.

A bit confused by some of Mullo's early in the set kicks, especially a small grubber on the 2nd (I think) right on their line (the one when House got penalised for a 2nd effort), but for the most part the long kicks got us out of trouble.

Got to see this one live which is a treat for me lately, and have Sunday off from work so I'll see that one on crappy channel 9 replay yay.

A massive positive would have to be the fact we had 5 blokes with less than 23 games experience in the team tonight.

Very confident about this one and we'll need it to keep our season afloat.

So you're not reading much into the fact that the Sharks gave the Warriors a towelling and have 2 big guns back in their line up

This. So much this. The sharks have had no Gal and have had Carney in and out of the side since origin, do not underestimate Gals presence for his side. I expect them to be at there best and ready to pay us back for earlier this year. If we dont allow them to smash us right out of the blocks I can see this going either way.

Yeah I'm pretty confident.

Basing anything on their match vs Warriors was laughable.

I've been telling my mates the sharks peaked in May. If they do make the finals it'll be making up numbers.

Yes...... The dreaded Sunday channel 9 replay. They really give it the Dairy Farmers treatment dont they. No half time break and they still milk it for 2 hours. Sometimes the ads go for so long I start doing something else and forget about the f#cker.

Worst televised game of the week by far. Hate it when the knights play the c#%t.

Totally agree. I refuse to watch it. Just get the live updates from LU.

Just a pleasure to watch. In love seeing us dig in.

Mullo was outstanding, bedsy turned back the years and the forwards have found another gear.

We have brilliant backs and forwards that are competing, a crying shame we had such a lull mid year.

Aku seems to have really lifted his work rate and Kevin surprises me with his confidence and polish, forgetting the dropped balls.

Boyd is now really back into the groove, he adds so much in attack.

We aren't far short of a quality team, we just need another prop or two.

Eddy doesn't deserve to come back into the team barring injury although if anyone looks likely to be dropped its Costigan, he does look like the weak link.

On Cronulla, they looked ordinary, we lost nothing letting de gois go, he doesn't look likely to punish teams.

That last bit where they were lobbing it around I think I and most of our bay cringed but it truly was a top notch effort. Sharks were slow off their line and Boyd, Mullen, the forwards really inflicted maximum damage. Carney was shut down like a little bitch. Bedsy calmed the ship. Mason lifted the passion. Such a great balance.

If anything our guys were trying to force tries where they would've come naturally on the next tackle or two and that's what was resulting in errors, but then they'd stay strong in defense any how so who can blame them.

I hope we're still in for Round 26 as it will packed to the rafters.
