We were behind on the scoreboard at half time by four points.

We were being by 10 points early in the second half.

We came back and got the job done winning comfortably in the end.

To me that speaks volumes about the character of this side.

You can say the Cowboys were down on troops and you can talk about many things we did wrong but you know what we found a way to get the job done.

Just for once guys give credit where credit is due. Enjoy it while it lasts. It was a gutsy victory.

It is really simple. He is a ball playing lock. He is first or second receiver. When we've put a dent in the line and there's an opportunity Moylan or Cartwright direct the play, most times together. He plays the second ball playing role many teams have their fullback do. Everything else is Cleary's until Moylan or Cartwright call over him, and Wallace pops a kick in when the opportunity presents.
Again he played 26 minutes tonight, how much influence is he supposed to supply in that time , like I said I can't see what roll he has going forward in this team

Moylan was out the back, Cartwright gave it to JFH because he thought Moylan had drawn enough attention and he could put him through. He got half through and had a hand free to offload had someone been there, but didn't, so Cartwright was wrong. Get used to it, a ball player will ball play and it won't always come off.

And I just told you what his role is. You quoted it.

How can he change Cartwrights mind? Moylan had no say in that drcision. Carty made that decision on his own.
if Moylan wants the ball he gets the ball make no doubt, he chose not to DEMAND it on that set and left it to Bryce who has probably told not to kick by the coach. Cleary again got caught on the 5th and the rest is history because Moylan as captain and chief play maker chose not to take the 5th tackle option, ps what is drcision?

What is really bizarre is when Cleary gets tackled on the 5th (which happens far too often) why doesn't Wallace become a kicking option?

If Cleary gets caught on the last and Cartwright and probably May are closer to the ruck than Moylan, then Moylan is not going to run around them to get into receiver before them. He'll go as a wider option for them out the back. That is just what it is, their purpose playing that position instead of another prop is to make creative decisions.

What I will say about the negativity is at least it reflects how much more we expect from this club in contrast to the past.

I mean we've won six straight, we're two straight wins away from equalling our biggest all time winning streak. That's pretty impressive considering the start we had.

We could be playing better, but we also could have shit the bed when we were 2 wins from 9 but we kept fighting and now we're 12 wins from 21!!!!

Credit had to be due for the persistence.A lot of teams would have given up, but we didn't.

just finished watching the game on IQ.

The win was gutsy from the players & they showed a heap of resilience in that second half.

The credit to Griffin goes mostly to team selections & perhaps defence. Outside of that this was a game won through players individual performances.

There's zero attacking structure still & we continue to play absolutely rubbish first half football. Yes we had little ball but the players don't seem to be allowed to kick on the 5th within the 20. Could improve our possession percentage with some repeat sets.

I honestly dont get how a coach can control a team for 2 seasons and not have developed some attacking plays the team can run. It's dumbfounding. Yes there's been a turnover of halves but I've never even seen a hint of some structure this this season.

Disagree all you like but if you're going to at least show the people that complain about the lack of structure where they're wrong.

There's still people on facebook ranting on about how Moylan should be dropped or benched in favour of May because of how we went in the final 15 minutes. Well yeah, of course we looked alright in the final 15 minutes, the Cows were absolutely stuffed by then with all the injuries and crap they've had. May thoroughly deserves his bench spot but it is unfathomable to even consider dropping Moylan for him.

Mate just for once enjoy a win. A hard fought come from behind victory.

You can get back to your sacking of Gus Gould and Anthony Griffin rants in a day or two but for now give us all a break and let the rest of us savour the moment,

Moylan hasn't trained a month so of course the attack will suck. He saved our bacon on a few kicks early on when Edwards was lost.

Maybe we need the trainer to count tackles cause no bastard seems to be able too. That defence with no ball in the 1st 50mins was un Penrith like

I did enjoy the win. I can enjoy it & critique it all at the same time.

If you want a break there's a mute button for a reason.
