The club hasn't explicitly said it but have alluded to it several times in that the salary cap and the tier 2 cap have killed our ability to get best team on field, it's been an accountants team most of the season. More reason that wt and the nrl should have sacked benji after the blues jersey episode and free up money for the rest of season and allow wt to bring in new players and not just shuffle the deck chairs.

It's a pretty crook team selected. Disappointing. I don't blame potter if he is hamstrung by the cap.

I assumed that the NRL would give the Tigers special dispensation to play second tier players if the game had no bearing on the finals. Often the same or a similar team is announced following a Monday night game and changes are made closer to game day. If this is the team that runs out against the Dragons then it will be a case of the salary cap forcing our hand. I can see no other reason for playing Bodene Thompson at centre. He doesn't have the speed or the passing ability to play centre anymore.

I dont think Lote went that bad and surprised me with his pace.

He was interviewed on monday night and was asked how the injury was going and he said not well. Was more likely to be back against the bunnies, Personally i would just love him coming off the bench!

It has come about because of a board demand that if Potter is to keep his job Benchy must start up until his 200th game.
