First Penrith game at the SCG since September 7, 1985 against the Eels.

It was our very first finals game as a club.

Although we won the 5th place playoff game there 4 days earlier against the sea eagles, but officially not a finals game.
If I can recall, we beat the Roosters last round. Brandy scored a try of his own long range kick in the corner. I think we won 36-6. I was on the supporters bus and we said we wanted to drive by Parra Leagues because we were so excited to make the finals, but we had to play Manly mid week.

1 win from 10 at the SCG (the 1985 playoff). Although it's only 8 losses with a draw thrown in.

Was there for both matches. Terrible experience on that weekend game watching Brett Kenny and co tearing us a new 'un.

Perhaps this weeks game as good a time as any to debut Billy Burns and see what he can do in the top grade. Yeo has been broken for some time now and he may as well have an early mark and get his offseason surgeries sorted sooner rather than later.

Well surely we want Yeo ready for pre-season.

There is a ban on taking up our juniors from now on. Not allowed to say anything positive till they reach certain milestones such as 200 NRL games, SOO and Kangaroo reprentative.

Haha touche. I definitely think [REDACTED] will be very [REDACTED] in a few years.

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary has named his squad to face Sydney Roosters at Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday.

With Isaah Yeo ruled out due to a shoulder injury, 20-year-old forward Billy Burns will make his NRL debut as Panther No.592.

Born in Parkes, Burns has progressed through the grades at Panthers since joining the club's premiership-winning SG Ball side in 2016.

Jarome Luai is on the bench after making his return from an eye injury in last week's Canterbury Cup match while Josh Mansour is still sidelined with a back injury.

The Panthers will wear the 2019 Away Jersey.
