Other than knocking us out of the semis what motivation will roosters have they have second spot wrapped up a massive game against souths next week and will be trying to avoid injuries for the semis we just need to run hard hit hard.

If anyone has some better info on Kenny possible injury. I'm headed to bed for an early start but probably not the time for disruptions to the roster.

And complete at 90%. And don't give away penalties. And tackle like never before.

Certainly worth a try, if they've got it in them.

Whoever smiled on Ben Stokes the other evening, we need some of that.

Where's Frank Winterstien? Not sure why he is absent from our top 17, need a strong defender on the edge, we've won most of our games with him there, especially with him starting, our first 20 mins aren't leaking points like we were last year till our run of 7 wins

As long as Naden isn't marking Latrell.
I was hoping to see Naden on the wing next to whare and Crichton at centre. Either way though the roosters backline is the best in the comp man for man by a fair margin. If they are on their game it will get ugly quickly no matter what position our backs play.
We can match them in the forwards though, hopefully enough to make a game of it.

For all the flak that Ivan cops, I have to give him credit for selecting another rookie to make his debut in a must win game with the season on the line.

The easier decision would of been to bring Winterstein back in, or give Sele another chance. There are a number of coaches that would of gone with the less risky option in a critical game, rather than giving Burns a debut. Just as he could of held back debuting Leniu and Crichton as well in other critical games for the safer choices of Ellis/Sele and Whare/MWZ, but didn't.

I know he has made a number of mistakes this year, and that this has been a shocking season, but these sort of selections gives me some hope for next season. As they show he isn't afraid to shake things up, and make some tough calls, to get the team and roster building in the right direction.
