Agree, but we can do both. You need at least 6 props in a 30 man squad, we have to recruit at least one.

A cheap Value for money few years would be great but I think he would be asking a lot for his last contract.
He is 31 in January and the days of the old warhorse prop are well behind us.
The game is to fast and a second or third year could see him as a passenger on a fair bit of coin. He isn’t a terrible option but there is a bit of risk at the wrong price.

Its the good and the bad with him.
He makes a lot of metres and he is a tough mongrel, something our pack doesn't have. The only downside is his frequent trips to the judiciary.
Might be worth a punt if the price is right.

Not sure I agree, I think we'll have to pay massive money to get him out here. He's under contract at a club consistently battling for the premiership... why would he even look at us unless it was for more $$$?

I do agree we need an aggressor in our pack, but I'm not even sure he's that anymore. Seems to have mellowed in his old age.

I think we need someone more dynamic, even if it is for only 15 - 20 mins per half.

Yeah not sure about that, im pretty confident he is still diving head first with 3 blokes hanging off him whilst headbutt/stomping that tool mcguire

If the Roosters were to let him go, it'd be because they don't think he's worth what they have to pay him.They seem to get these things right most of the time.
