Leading try scorer last 2 seasons in NSW Cup. Runs great lines
Don't understand in bringing in a 1st grade rookie against an intimidating outfit like the Roosters when we have other options. It's enough that they are light years ahead in experience in the backline, plus the fact that Maloney is already in France, doesn't bode very well for us.

Roosters by at least 24.

I guess most of the other options won’t be here next season whereas the debutant is. Happy to see him given a debut given our season is well and truly over. Certainly agree we could be on the receiving end of a hiding this week.

Westfund Injury Update: Isaah Yeo

The season is over for Isaah Yeo after the Panthers forward underwent shoulder reconstruction surgery earlier on Wednesday.

Yeo suffered a dislocated shoulder against Canberra Raiders in Round 8 and scans at the time confirmed he would require a full reconstruction.

However, refusing to give up on the Panthers season, the 24-year-old opted to delay surgery and attempt to rehabilitate the injury.

Four weeks later, with the team short on outside backs, Yeo returned to the field and played centre in a 15-12 victory over Manly Sea Eagles.

Unfortunately his luck ran out and he dislocated his shoulder again during his first stint in last Friday's defeat to North Queensland Cowboys.

Having now undergone surgery, Yeo begins a long rehabilitation process with the goal of being fit to play by the start of next season.

Sadly I think this will be the end of yeo in first grade. Wich absolutely sucks as I love watching him play. But he seems so much ower and less impacting as he used to be.

Yeos injury was certainly hampering him, but that only confirms that he's better than he's been playing. An injury requiring surgery isn't ideal at his age but it's hardly a death sentence for his career. Every chance we see him back to his best next year imo.

I think it was Gus that said injuries above the waist aren't as bad. It's the lower body injuries that are a concern.

Don't get me wrong. I would be happy as a pig in shit for him to be captain. It's just a very tough position he is in.
