Alvaro for 3 minutes game time?

Alvaro got a pretty healthy stint against the Titans. Given most of our pack are carrying niggles from the Roosters game and beyond you would think he would get another decent run this weekend.

Alvaro is listed as 108kgs, just shy of Mannah at 110kgs. Is it just me or does Alvaro play like a much smaller man ? Is it just inexperience ?

If we can play for 80 minutes like we did in the first half against the rorters last Sat night and without injuries we'll win this game. Without crippled forwards JWH would not have got anywhere near the tryline. Shut down the Moanly pack and give little airtime to Foran and DCE, will paralyse Moanly into defeat. We could do with getting Nelson into our squad. Maybe Lussick will drop out due to injury leaving room for Nelson to enter the top 17.

Manly halves have shown they don't need their forward pack to be as dominant for them to play well.

Good ruling IMO. If the bloke with the ball is allowed to brace himself for impact why can't the defender do the same? Standing your ground and bracing your shoulder doesn't constitute a charge. Hence it's not a shoulder charge. I hope the MRC continues to rule this way.

I agree.

No, the MRC were the ones who laid the charges. They thought all three incidents were worthy of charges. These are also the same muppets who seem to miss obvious reportable incidents every week, and are inconsistent with the severity of gradings. Seriously, how hard is it to view each match, watch replays and apply consistency?

The judiciary is the panel that cleared the three players last night.
