... even though the Knights are still a realistic shot at making the finals?

We are playing like shit, I don't think that can be denied. I think it is a lack of confidence more than a lack of desire, but if we can't win this weekend we don't deserve 8th spot.

We've had one and a half bad games against quality opposition where it was plain for everyone to see that we're nowhere near a top side yet. But before the second half against the Warriors, we were actually playing some decent footy. Against lesser opposition sure, but it was still decent footy.

Geez I thought Canterbury were pretty good against one of the top sides in the comp last week. We are up against I believe. Barba looks as though he has learnt to catch the ball as well. I'd like to see him tested but with our kicking game and chase I don't see him being put under too much pressure. Dogs could put a few points on us.

I saw bits and pieces of that Manly-Canterbury game last Sunday and Manly played much like Brisbane did on Monday night. Did as much as they had to do to get the points.

So cos they aimed up against an average eagles outfit form wise we are gone then? I think we will smash them. Hard to beat Broncs when u gift them the ball over and over. The Stig criticism of late is just unfair. He needs time.

I think the Stig criticism of late has been warranted. I don't particularly care whether he's been told to sit back and let Mullo run the show - it's clearly not working. We need both our halves working together to give the side direction; if that means Stig taking it on himself to take the 5th or 6th play of the set every now and then, that can only be good for Mullo.

Provided we don't dish up the average performances of the last 110 minutes on Saturday I think we should be good enough to win. I don't think there'll be much in it either way though.

it's not unfair at all, he's playing like shit... and we don't really have the luxury of just letting him shit everything up while he adapts, when we're a single win (in only 2 chances left) away from a finals berth. i hope to god he offers something more than being a doorstop for all ball movement this week.

A rookie with less than half a season behind him and people carry on like he has been playing for 2 seasons. This kid is one of the main reasons our season is still alive. My question is if people are so sure he is that bad then what is their answer to the halves? I don't have one but if others do then please fess up.

The halves should share the load a bit better. I'm sure Stig has more to offer than a few runs and 10 tackles. Let the bloke have a kick in general play for Christ sake. Something. Get out of the way a little Mullo.
