Bulldogs/Warriors is the televised game? Titans/Tigers would of been a far better option.

Rabbitohs v Dragons would have been a perfect Sunday game. The Bulldogs v Warriors game doesn't have any merit at all.

Pfft. Outside of Canterbury fans who'd really care about that? Even Auckland don't want to watch their team this year.

Titans/Tigers would be a far better game.

Given the NRL are doing a decent job of promoting El Magic's retirement, I'm pretty sure that takes precedence.

So will Craig Fitzgibbon get a CH9 send off as well?

Did Politis approach the NRL about it? No.
not really f**kwit, it's still going to be a sh*t game.

if it was on fox then at least they could get the telecast right, as opposed to ad breaks then straight to the news.

did menzies get a channel 9 game for his farewell? no, it was brooky on a monday night.
Did Mayer/Meyer whatever the gooses name was approach the NRL about it last year? No.

It's all about the quality of club management. Put simply, Greenberg is a good CEO.

Good point.

There can be no excuse for the Dogs being given this time slot - Souths V Dragons was a potential 30,000 plus game.

Whoever made this decision is an out and out f**kwit.

With respect, how would you know?

Unless of course you are the canary in the cage in Gallop's office.

Does the NRL need to hold a club CEO by the hand when doing these things?

El Masri doesn't deserve it anymore than Craig Fitzgibbon does he? or Menzies and Buderus last season.

Given the statement released by the Manly club after the R25 announcement last year, it sounded like they just left it to hope that the NRL would favourably schedule the match.

The Roosters I have no idea, although to be fair, neither Fitzy or Menzies went into retirement - Hazem is.

Fein - the game is likely to crack 30 or 40k itself, all NRL club members have free entry to the game, and all Bulldogs members are entitled to invite two friends free of charge by filling out a form on the 'Dogs website.
