We certainly went out of our way to loose that game!
The dragons didn't seem to have to many problems catching the ball, can't blame the weather.
Horrible performance, no respect for the ball at all.
Now we head into next week with no Edwards or Moylan, Dallin certainty shouldn't be allowed any where near fullback again.
May very well be season over :frowning2:

How the hell didn't we score a point in the 2nd half? It's like we went into our shell.Giving up a 6 pointer from DWZ was all the difference.

Gees we done everything to lose that game but for some reason I always thought we had it in the bag... Stupid individual errors all game. Clearys decision making was off today but in fairness he wasn't alone. Mansours strip when we had them camped in their own ten is probably one of the stupidest things I've seen on a football field.

Our defence is still looking solid which I guess is the positive we can take out of it. Searching for others...

A lot of things didn't go our way today, but we also didn't help ourselves much at all.

There were some 50/50 calls that you'd normally expect to go the way of the home team, that went the way of the Dragons. Some of them were critical, like the terrible call that Clearly made a second effort to put the Dragons' player in the in goal. I'd love to see the current statistics for any match we play where Cummins is involved (even as assistant ref like he was today) - for reasons that are a total mystery to me the 50/50 calls always seem to go against us when he referees our games.

Some people might respond to say that DWZ should have been in the bin at the end of the first half - I don't agree. It was clear that the Dragons player was holding onto DWZ and driving his head into DWZ in an effort to earn the penalty, so it didn't go as far as being a professional foul.

We lost Edwards to injury during the game which interrupted us, and I expect there were some attacking opportunities that Edwards would have given us late in the game if he were still on the field.

The weather also didn't help us - Dragons style of play was also going to be more suited to those kind of conditions than ours.

Our discipline certainly could have been better, and I think if we were more disciplined we would have won. However, I also think that even with the same discipline we would have won had the above things gone our way.

It wasn't a send off because the defence was set which negates it being a try scoring opportunity.

Well at least when DWZ has a shocker like today, he usually has a blinder the following week. There is a lot of room for improvement,

That strip from mansour was inexcusable, and for me was the worst thing that we did in the game. ( there were a few to choose from).
Cleary was kicking quite well but every time we had a chance to keep the pressure on we let them off with a penalty or error.
Our defence was pretty decent, especially with dick hands Dallin and willy hands waqa adding to the pressure.
