We had enough opportunities to be leading by plenty.

Bottom line, we are playing a reserve grade squad, and are down at half time.

Im as pissed off as all members here re some of the calls, but a top 8 side would overcome that,

Taking the 2 early on, showed our mindset... Gutless.

No doubt that luck comes with better management but sometimes a favour or two can get things started. Nothing happening.

Lafai, Pereira, MacDonald, Hunt, Mann without doubt the WORST backline in the comp. No wonder we can’t put together a structured set of 6, let alone score points...

Yep he can't kick, doesn't call the ball or get involved enough. Hunt doing all the work is a tough ask. Mann can only tackle so time to turf him.

The Knights are a bottom 8 team and certainly playing like it. The problem is, we're playing like a bottom 8 team as well.

Next week will be painful, whoever we meet.

To all lomax fans on here, he definitely isn't ready for first grade. Making errors, missing penalties, giving penalties away and bombing tries. I hope you can realise there is a difference between the standard in ISP and first grade. Mary was right to stick by Aitken, he'd have scored both of those.

Give the kid a break. Aitken would have bombed that one Lomax miraculously got to ground.. not his fault the try was disallowed.

We've heard a lot of defence from our coach and players these days and the lot of it is garbage.

First it was goodbye top 2, then top 4, and now we will lose the advantage of a home final next week (unless we can keep some ball in this game).

I just need one of them to admit we are not good enough and then I can get on with my life.

We need to get the ball two and 3 passes out from the ruck. We are running one out each time and making it easy to get two or three tacklers.

We have made room outside on the left ( Mann) and we don't get the ball out to our centres and wingers.

Refereeing is poor as usual.

We get penalised for running chasers off the ball and Newcastle don't.
If Newcastle first try was ok and our first dissallowed try should also have been allowed.

Just need to move their forwards left and right, they are not fit. Mary please give your team a game plan.

I was genuinely surprised by his selection purely on the basis that post game last week he said he was gassed, lacking match fitness after returning from injury in ISP.

Maybe Mann to centre, Field in the halves and rotate Lomax? This probably should’ve been the plan from the get go.
