Josh Dugan has been dropped for St George Illawarra's crucial clash with Penrith for disciplinary reasons.
Dugan was named in the Dragons' 17 for the must-win match, but was withdrawn when teams were released an hour before kickoff.
Kurt Mann will move to the centres for the Dragons in place of Dugan, while Josh McCrone will return to the starting line up in place of Mann at halfback.
The Dragons did have centre Euan Aitken in their extended squad, however he dropped out of the side to play NSW Cup yesterday.
Dugan ran into trouble as a youngster in Canberra, but has previously avoided disciplinary action while at the Dragons.
However he hit the headlines earlier this year when he joined Blake Ferguson for a lengthy pub visit just five days before the State of Origin decider.
The Blues centre has signed to move to Cronulla next year.
