Josh Dugan has been dropped for St George Illawarra's crucial clash with Penrith for disciplinary reasons.

Dugan was named in the Dragons' 17 for the must-win match, but was withdrawn when teams were released an hour before kickoff.

Kurt Mann will move to the centres for the Dragons in place of Dugan, while Josh McCrone will return to the starting line up in place of Mann at halfback.

The Dragons did have centre Euan Aitken in their extended squad, however he dropped out of the side to play NSW Cup yesterday.

Dugan ran into trouble as a youngster in Canberra, but has previously avoided disciplinary action while at the Dragons.

However he hit the headlines earlier this year when he joined Blake Ferguson for a lengthy pub visit just five days before the State of Origin decider.

The Blues centre has signed to move to Cronulla next year.

Two kicks so far from McCrone.
1. Midfield bomb that went about 25 metres.
2. Kick straight down the throat of the fullback and makes 30 metres on the kick return.

Hope you're right. As a fan, I have a right to an opinion. Doesn't make me judge and jury as you put it. If he always hogs the ball and f**ks around in the play the play the ball then it doesn't make it right for him to keep doing it. You can't ignore just because he always does it. It's f**king annoying and is compounded when he plays shit and then gets stuck into his team mate. Something tells me he will have another shocker, hope not, but Let's see how he goes...

Well I was right, Dugan let us down massively. What a complete f**king dickhead. Almost unforgivable, and it sounds as if the players feel the same way.
