Round 26 V Manly

Totally agree he has completely screwed this bloke
JFH and Katoa had really good games. Peachey and Mansour solid and I thought Cartwright looked a bit better than he has lately. Cleary tried hard without help or space. Everyone else was pretty disgraceful.

Think the pressure of the last 3 months definitely has worn them down so I couldn't blame the players too much. You can't play basically sudden death 15 weeks in a row and expect to be fresh at the end.

I'll finally jump on. Time to sack Griffin. In saying that if we get Manly again next week I'd be quietly confident of reversing the result. We won't be belted out of the game in the first 5 minutes again and Moylan would be a massive boost. Against the Sharks though and we are done.
Cleary for mine gets caught too many times with the ball but that comes with inexperience, Wallace is shit , CHN has been ordinary of late, Tamou ?

For only the 13th time in 51 seasons, we've reached the finals.

It's the first time since 2003-2004 we've made the finals two years in a row.

Of course the club has to aim higher than this, but it is a little perspective about our club and the mediocrity they've delivered over the years, at least now they are showing a higher level while still underachieving...

If it is Moylan v Griffin and the non dickhead ever professional players like Josh, Wallace, Merrin, DWZ, Yeo, Whare, RCG, Cleary are with Griffin then we have no choice but to keep Griffin on, or they're all pissed and everything turns toxic.

Who is Parker? Where is Phil Gould in all of this? There are far too many nuffies flapping their gums uselessly about this.
Corey Parker said this, after talking to Moylan before the game. And the way he said it was like he was holding back from just outright saying he's not going to be playing.

Why did it take so long to shuffle the backline?

Whare has never been a good full back and Blake was being carved up at centre.

What's happened with Blake the last two weeks? Arguably our most consistent player over the last 12 months yet all of a sudden looks lost at sea.

CNH seems to fallen badly off the pace as well.

My old mans not happy, been supporting this rubbish since 1967. I was dumb founded when whare actually started at 1, what the? Wallace should never have played the last two weeks. How can you tackle with a broken hand, stupidity. We played with such attacking flare last year now it is gone. Merrin and Tamou should f off back to where they came from because clearly they can't lay a platform for our backs to work off. Waste of cap space, pussy forwards. If they put in such a shit performance next week who ever we play will put 50 on us. Hope I'm wrong. End rant.

Inexperience has been our main down fall this season as shown in some games. When the more seasoned teams with hard nosed players put the pressure on,it can be overwhealming. We simply don't have that battle hardness in spades.

And I'll throw in phsycological fatigue. Talent with inexperience will get you so far. We have young players that are nowhere used to the week in,week out grind of 1st grade NRL.

As far as Griffin is concerned,he has what he needs. It simply has to come together. It wasn't going to be this year.We all fell for the fact that it would, but it was a fallacy.

Still,we can have a good go at it next week.:)
