Still think that we are never ever out of a game at halftime. Whatever Griffin's faults, he has the side playing well in second halves.
We're fit. We have beasts all over the park.

Our structure sucks. We are braindead at times. But our side dont give a shit about a deficit.

That happened a lot last season, Edwards in support, but he rarely got the ball. Sign of things to come, hopefully.

For those saying Tamou cant pad his stats with kick returns. He can if we score tries. Just had 20 metres easy then.

We have been totally stitched up by the refs so far!
Maloney gets obstructed, Bulldogs score. Foran falls over, Bulldogs get a penalty and score. They have had 70% possession and 7 - 3 penalties and yet we are still hanging in!

One thing Ivan has taught this club wich has continued with Griffen is not to sulk. I remember over the years as soon as something went wrong heads would drop.

The bad... we played terribly.
The good... we only trail by 8.

Our forwards look good. Nice runs. Nice lines. Hitting hard in defence. But we dont defend as a team. Nobody seems to have a clue what the guys next to them will do.

That last try has me confident of a win. But the second Bulldogs hit 20 i thought it was over.

Who else is yelling at our forwards to get the f**k off them? So many penalties that are blatantly obvious. A few occassions i feel we got lucky not to be penalised.

If i can go for a piss and bae back before you've gotten off the tackle. You're laying on it too long.

It was definitely no try when the guy got in Maloney’s way but Maloney running behind Merrin is a penalty every day. We can't go off when they actually get 1 right.

I thought thr Bulldogs tries in the first half were very lucky.

One came from a kick in the air and in any event I thought Morris knocked on.

One came from an intercept.

One try came from an obstruction.

The last one came from a lucky ricochet.

When we have had the ball we have looked deadly. For how little possession we have had we busted them easily. If we have equal possession in the second half and they don’t get anymore freaky tries we should get home.

Yeah our boys are pushing their luck in the tackle.

It still pops up.

Against Souths last year. One intercept pass turned the whole game.

But in general. Our team are good at ignoring the scoreboard. Terrible at defending penalties though.

Deadly? We've looked pretty bad excluding 1 good play.

Definitely luck.

But we also gave them those opportunities by being stupid.

Honestly nearly every point we've conceded this year comes back to us being stupid. Basic mistakes by us being punished.

We defend do well between the 20 metre lines. Kick returns we need to shut down better..and inside our 20. The other 60 metres of the field we are very strong.

Anyone know the penalty count? And we must have had 40% of the ball. To only be 8 behind isn't a terrible outcome.

I agree.

Bulldogs have received the benefit of 6, we have received 3.

Let’s hope our superior fitness gets us home again.

The Cleary intercept and the Maloney obstruction were both direct results of set plays...
If they were set plays nobody was in the right positions. That's my point.

And that 'set play' was just pass side to side. How else can you get it outwide other than that way? It's easy to read.

Maloney should have known to pass or concede the tackle. He was easily imside Merrin and thats what tripped Foran snd he had to hit that gap. Need discipline when in that position. Instinct would tell you to go for it. But discipline in those positions is golden. Maloney either lacked discipline (cue arnie meme) or tried to be cheeky and hope he could get away sith one.
