I see it more as a cultural thing. Flanagan coaches those tactics into his team. Gallen with the drop balls in the ruck getting called as a strip, Fifita crowding the play the ball and so on. We’ve never been one to play for penalties.

It’s a stupid thing to have to do (to dive) but if you do it then the referee usually has no choice.

Oh well, we got ripped off in round 3 last year too with Latrell's forward pass. Lost that one by 2 as well. Would it be crazy to hope that's our bad calls out of the way for this season?
