Never like losing, but there was a lot going right for 3/4s of that match. In the end inexperience from our spine and some class from theirs (not to mention goalkicking) was the difference.

I think the squad will take a lot of confidence from that. But we've still started the season 1-2, leaking 90 points in the process. Massive game against the Bunnies next week.

Super proud of the boys though, we had no right to be in the game like we were. Thankfully leota turns it up in the finals cos he comes up with some really ordinary moments in the regular season

I'm disappointed to be 1-2 obviously and still leaking 30 points per game FFS... but probably expected to get pumped by 30-40 tonight the way we started and when Cleary went down. Impressed with the comeback and refusal to give up and the way the youngsters stepped up but a few of the senior guys need to fire themselves up.

I think we deserve it. There are so many positive things to take away. I feel like we came out of this as winners.

Opening of the season has kind of been opposite to what I expected. I thought our attack would be rubbish and defence would hold.

Based on the sharks and this game I think once we get our best team back and cut out the stupidity things will start to settle.

Thought Cole had a good dig, wasn't faultless but got better as the game went on. Same with Blaize too.
