The only redeeming point I made (either in this thread, or the other) was when in the 1st half, the Storm were continually cuffing our players (holding down at the collar) yet the Fox crew never picked it up at the time for that entire half.

And also,as I usually say, how is it that defensive sides are right on top of us one pass from the ruck, yet when the opposition attack, we are at least 15 yards away. I'm I missing some obvious point here?

DWZ too inconsistent
Edwards was crap and is too weak
No viable option at hooker
Whare too slow
Cleary has had a very poor start to the season
Our forwards are just getting smashed
Bench doesn't offer anything exciting
Can't see them playing finals footy, in fact I think unless major changes are made they will be lucky to finish above bottom 4

Our attack is shit. Starts from the halves

Our halves don't get to touch the ball when your backs make errors on first tackle. Of which Edwards did 6 f**king times tonight.

But everyone is attacking the half who has helped setup 2 actual tries and couldve had more if not for errors. Rather then the half with 0 try assists to his name.

Hes our MOTM last week for most despite 4 penalties and 3 drop outs given and no try assists. Praise him for a couple of big tackles and ignore the 7 negative plays

In the past three years, we have lost Cartwright, Moylan and Peachey all players who had flair and were capable of producing match-winning plays. We have also lost Merrin who could offload well and create second phase play.

Cleary has gone backwards over the past two years bringing in Maloney was a huge mistake Cleary should have been our dominant half instead he is deferring too much to Maloney rather than being the dominant player on the team.

Dylan Edwards shouldn't be playing in the NRL who else has a fullback who's main contribution at his best is that he is safe. This was fine 25 years ago in the Michael Potter, Andrew Leeds era but fullbacks now either have to be explosive ball-runners or have the ball skills of a half and Edwards has neither. He has no pace and is lacking in skills. There is really no reason for him to be playing he has nothing and I have always thought this from his debut he is like a slower version of Matt Moylan if he had no ball skills or an inferior slower version of Lachlan Coote.

DWZ and Waqa Blake are our only outside backs who look threatening and are good broken field runners. I have no problem with Whare and Mansour as players but I would consider Whare more a solid and dependable centre then flashy which is fine if you have other match-winners in the team. Mansour, as well he has been great for Penrith but he is more a winger who helps out the forwards than anything to get truly excited about.

The only player in the squad who brings any sort of excitement is Luai who was dropped after the first game of the season despite being one of our best players in that game.

Winterstein, Sele and Fuimaono all look like reserve graders. None of them come close to replacing Merrin or even Harawira-Naera.

It's going to be a very long season by the looks of things.

Edwards’s personifies what the club seems to want to be, good, safe and competitive.
Unfortunately it is just not working for us, or him.
we make more errors than any other team, give away stupid penalties and have gotten rid of all the attack minded players probably to try and curb it.
Unfortunately it just keeps happening and our roster no longer seems to be good enough to cope. Kikau will make a big difference, hopefully bringing some decent second phase play for us to score from because our first phase is hideous.

Nathan is supposed to be feeding the ball to Blake and Kikau. He was supposed to be paired up with our attacking weapons and he's partnered with all the has beens.
