Only scored 2 tries when eels down to 12 men and none against storm.

The teams gone backwards under Cleary big time. It is early but gee the attacks pedestrian.

Goulds messed up I reckon. Paying Mansour the big dollars and letting Sivo go for peanuts. Peachey another one.
Edwards is a plodder. Safe at best but no flare. The backline bar Blake and DWZ looks pedestrian.
The fact Winterstein and Fuimaino make your team is sad. They are nothing more then depth. Same goes for Sele.
Cleary is also average. I said it before. What does he even do Well?

As much as Edwards gunned for the Paul Carige tonight, we were never anywhere near that game. Our defense looked solid at times, but completely crumbled at a time when we were still theoretically in the game.

Worse, our basic skills with the ball are schoolboy level. The dick fingers would be bad enough, but there's so many passes at people's heads, passes behind players, passes to guys who are thoroughly covered, ball player and runner being completely out of sync. We have no shape in attack, look slow and predictable when we're putting on one of our set plays. We look like a team of dudes from the pub who decided to go for a run 5 schooners in. It's pathetic. We can scrape a few barge overs against pretender teams but against a real footy team who showed up to play we looked comprehensively outmatched. Like we were fighting one weight division too high.

I get that some here don't rate our roster that highly, but surely, surely we can expect better than this.

Cleary is not a half back let alone a million dollar half back, he has no vision in attack what so ever. Team was running better last year with Maloney calling all the shots.

His fullback handed over possession 6 times before a teammate had a chance to touch the ball. 2 costing us tries.



No one played well. But the wrong player is being blamed here . Our depth has gotten weaker every season long before Nathans recent deal.

Off-season every merkin is praising Gus for keeping a few juniors at the expense of losing multiple rep players . Now they're finally seeing how badly our roster has been handled and Nathan is blamed?

Literally everyone is being overpaid. We dont pay minimum wage ffs. Snd some of these guys aren't even worth that.

Cleary is prob on close to a million. He isn't worth half that at this stage. People get excited if a player is young.He wont be anywhere near origin.

Edwards was bad and DWZ needs to be fullback but Cleary is the half that is supposed to organize the team. He is not a million dollar half back.

Nah I'm with MX here. There's more to our problems than Cleary. I share some of the reservations about him, but he's not causing hookers to throw balls at players heads, the continuous dick fingers. The degree to which he's responsible for how pedestrian we look in attack is questionable too.

In 2020 they can have a splash as many players off contract. They also have a young rookie half and hooker and will get betrer with experience.

Yes it is early but so far Panthers have looked rubbish. And all these 5yr deals Gus hands out for fun are going to blow up in your faces.
Signed to many juniors who are overated on long deals and overs. Sometimes fans fall in love with juniors too much. Parra fans do with Alvaro and Tepai Moera. 2 average players.

They flogged us in week 1 and were competitive against the defending premiers for 65mins or so.

We could've maybe been competitive if we didnt gift Storm 2 tries and momentum for a bunch more.

If I come into the Parra forum (or any other team) after they've been flogged and point out how bad they played I would fully expect to be told to shove off.
