The fuss is funny isn't it. They look likely at times but you need to play good footy consistently to demand top dollar.

Key word is consistency...

They would have a poor game 50 percent of the time.

It kills the team and they can't possibly win when they are both having an off game together (like today) which must happen 25 percent of the time...

Is this the form you reward with $800K contracts each?

Why after all of these years can people still not spell Farah? It really isn't that hard.

It was his first game back, he was anywhere near our worst player. This team needs him, our halves are so inconsistent.

It's amazing that they are talking about getting paid more. I'd let them both go if they don't improve significantly.

To be fair to Moses he has been pretty good consistently and today was his first howler. Still he isn't worth big money at this point.

Moses was poor last week, but I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt because the forwards were ordinary...

I'll pen an e-mail to Apple and get them to correct Farrah to Farah on their auto-correct....

He was garbage in the trial against Cronulla as well so writing was on the wall.

I hate to say this but it's only the Balmain fraction that want Farah.

The positives r that we conceded 1 try which was dodgy & the forwards had a dig for 80 mins.

The -ves r our halves were shithouse. As has been evident time & time again brooks isn't an NRL no. 7's arsehole & he's not worth 150k let alone 600k+.Moses I can forgive for a poor game as he has displayed some quality footy over the 1st 3 rounds but he isn't worth anywhere near the 600k he is on.If I was running WT & how I wish I was I would play hardball with there contracts & the only one worth keeping is Moses but I wouldn't be getting in s bidding war over him.

Farah was rusty & understandably so but he is still a very significant part of the team & undoubtedly our no.1 hooker.

What pisses me of is where the f**k is brooks when Woods takes the ball up & he is constantly able to offload but has nobody supporting him.Its the single part of the gump no.7's game we should benefit from as he can't tackle, can't pass & has a shithouse kicking game.

Who are they?

Aren't they broke and didn't they get replaced by NRL appointed board members?

Talking to people at the games and reading comments made by posters on this board.

I really couldn't give a stuff about Balmain and Western Suburbs anymore. It's been 16 years since Wests Tigers first kicked a ball and outside of 14 magic weeks in 2005 what have we achieved?

My main focus is on Wests Tigers and to be brutally honest I'm sick of losing. The club attracts nothing and the culture is garbage. Appointing Taylor was a dumb move. Probably got the job as he was an ex-magpie.

Other clubs make hard decisions and move players, coaches and administrators on when they no longer fit. We are the complete opposite. I was initially upset and shocked when Farah was asked to move on but when the dust settled and rational thought kicked in I was like mad unit and appald at the way in which it occurred rather than the fact Farah was asked to go.

It's time the club grew a back bone or else the Wests portion of the name will stand for Western Australia rather than Western Suburbs.

lol.

Posters here aren't picking the team.

The buck stops with JT

He has got no idea what he is doing as evidenced with the 17 he put in the field today, and the players
he overlooks each week.

He has no idea what he wants out of the hooker position this year as evidenced by his selections in all 4 games, not just today.

I can't work it out as its his butt in the line, but Potter was inept as well and picked Anasta each week he was fit.

But whatever the reason for the team still stuffing up in 2016, it's got nothing to do with Balmain.

As an Eels fan, have to say that Tedesco is the reason your team can attack at all

Jarryd Hayne was and is awesome, but Tedesco has as much influence on your team, if you want to assemble a new roster. Confident the Eels could find a spot for him, he was Tigers best player by a long way today

I couldn't even name who your best attacking player was today.

Foran was terrible... Loses track of the tackle count...

Yes, you are 100% correct that the fans aren't picking teams but the media, driven by social media and supporter backlash, drove the back flip. In my experience from here and sharing ideas with fans at the game majority of them are ex-Balmain supporters. Western Suburbs supporters will just moan about how unfair it is that the 'pies aren't in the NRL and that gets boring really quickly.

Look I'm not arguing with you in the fact that we both dislike Taylor as coach but you could say the same about Sheens.

I can only assume they pick names rather than blokes who might do a better job who are playing reserves. You take the risk and cop the flack for picking the young guy over the guy has played SOO and/or for their country.

I don't think anybody wants Farah in the team even at one third of his reported salary.

Unfortunately we are stuck with him as the club couldn't even give him away. And as I said previously he might be still here next year on that same salary taking up valuable Cap space which is even a bigger disaser.

But also doesn't change my point that Taylor doesn't seem to rate Cherry either, and from what I've seen from him so far this season, I can't argue with him..

To me this issue has got nothing to do with Wests/ Balmain and I am getting Jack of that continually raised as a reason for dysfunction and the lack of results.

Balmain has been dead for years, but it will be official in 3 days time.

To me they have been dead since 2000.

I believe that Farah still offers more than Cherrington, watching the game today, I thought Farah needed a run with and made be wonder when he got the all clear to run after his knee problem because it looked like it might have been last Thursday. Now that Farah is back I'd give Cherrington a full game in the reserves every 2nd week with the aim of improving the things he needs to improve on and get some game time into him.

If we held some passes we would have scored some 3 pointers or at least got into better positions to score some. Whilst the forwards dropped some gee the backs today were pretty bad with their handling.

Interesting selections next week as Lawrence comes in for who? Buchanan? and still carry Halatau and Cherrington?

As for issues with JT and Farah, maybe my 1st point regarding when he got the all clear was the reason he started on the bench. If JT is pissed off this week maybe it's because of the new GM and getting rid of the gluten diet and saying that it's OK to have pizza and a beer after a game. Bloody hell, what a great start, why not concentrate on the football side of things unless it is the players who have an issue with the gluten, the coconut water no pizzas etc and suggested the same same to O'Neill - who knows?

Fair enough, all 4 halves were meh today, the game was a mess to be frank

Still must be disconcerting to be outnumbered in a crowd today, even after some sh*t years, Eels fans still turn up. By the way , was saying how good Tedesco was, that's all

We have got issues no arguments there so you weren't telling us anything we didn't know. We also know Teddy is pretty good too.

Wasn't at the game but Vossy gave the Tigers the edge on the crowd numbers...even if it was 50/50 I don't think it's too bad a result given our biggest off season signing was Tim Grant and you signed several superstars...

Good win and good luck with the season...

Our halves have to play smarter and be more direct for the WT to have any chance of winning,a lot of attention is also needed on their kicking and control or lack there of during a game.

Brooks, Moses, Halutau and Rankin were pretty crap.

I don't know how JT was working the interchanges but our forwards looked completely buggered. Grant coming off early hurt us but why did we even bother with Cherrington on the bench? Another prop would have been very handing
