I don't think anybody wants Farah in the team even at one third of his reported salary.
Unfortunately we are stuck with him as the club couldn't even give him away. And as I said previously he might be still here next year on that same salary taking up valuable Cap space which is even a bigger disaser.
But also doesn't change my point that Taylor doesn't seem to rate Cherry either, and from what I've seen from him so far this season, I can't argue with him..
To me this issue has got nothing to do with Wests/ Balmain and I am getting Jack of that continually raised as a reason for dysfunction and the lack of results.
Balmain has been dead for years, but it will be official in 3 days time.
To me they have been dead since 2000.
We have got issues no arguments there so you weren't telling us anything we didn't know. We also know Teddy is pretty good too.
Wasn't at the game but Vossy gave the Tigers the edge on the crowd numbers...even if it was 50/50 I don't think it's too bad a result given our biggest off season signing was Tim Grant and you signed several superstars...
Good win and good luck with the season...
Farah in the past 5 years or so has been all abt himself and his followers, in my opinion very detrimental (selfish) to you club causing more harm than good.
I would be interested in what you mean by "selfish"...
I don't want to be sticking up for the guy as my preference would be for him to move on, but he was stitched up by Tallis making public some off the record comments he made about Potter over a beer ( I doubt he is the first player to have a moan about his coach..)
Also I don't see that he is selfish by wanting the club to honour the contract that was negotiated in good faith by the previous administration ( he says that he took less money previously on the understanding that his final contract with the club would be backloaded).
He is entitled to that money, but hopefully during his last year ( 2017), he can be offloaded to England to help free up some space.
On the positive side, he was involved in the Teddy Raiders backflip decision... f**k knows what shape the Club would be in now if he had of left.

Hope Farrah improves on yesterday , his defence was great but the rest of his game was very poor i thought. 1st game back so i guess that is part of it , but he is looking very slow now.
I always though that it would have or could have been Matt Ballin used as a backrower when he was back because of his defence and based on the fact that Farah is the better 9 but MU maybe you are right and they could reverse it.perhaps a move to the back row is high on the cards
and Buffalo, I think it's a good lesson for all players going forward that you can and should have a club and new coach honour an existing contract, it's been done to death now but you cannot blame the player or manager for the failings of previous administration. Also I don't see that he is selfish by wanting the club to honour the contract that was negotiated in good faith by the previous administration ( he says that he took less money previously on the understanding that his final contract with the club would be backloaded).
I watch the game again on FOX and you are correct, he did well.Kevin Naiqama - I just want to give a big wrap to this bloke...
here we go again, now from a Parra fan, Mr Pmatta, was Hayne the same at Parra? every club has a player or 2 or 3 that supporters of other clubs might deem as being selfish or 'abt himself' and we all know jack !!!Farah in the past 5 years or so has been all abt himself and his followers
buffalo rules, I do because of his experience, win at all cost attitude and because he is better than Cherrington, Halatau and Ballin and I dare say, (if we go back to the Sheens type selections) he'd be better than Brooks.I don't think anybody wants Farah in the team even at one third of his reported salary

So we have had a centre, winger, fullback, lock and prop make the NSW Cup team of the week in 4 rounds of football. Hopefully JT gets to these games4 Chance Peni (Wests Tigers)
Peni has been unlucky not to be selected in previous weeks; his accurate reading of opposition defences has been overshadowed by the brilliance of Josh Addo-Carr and Watson Heleta. It was the centres turn this week as he came up with two impressive try assists to Jayden Wheelhouse and looked dangerous at all times with the ball.

Its a matter of personal opinion.
I agree that he is better option than Halatau who is past his best, and Cherrington based on the form he has shown so far this year, but Farah's value to the team is closer to $300K rather than the $950K he is being paid for 2016.
Is it just me or did they play a lot flatter this game against the Eels? I have to watch the game again but it seemed like the Eels rush defence really cut down the time of the halves which would have been somewhat alleviated by standing deeper. That or the Eels were offside the entire game.
