I don't think anybody wants Farah in the team even at one third of his reported salary.

Unfortunately we are stuck with him as the club couldn't even give him away. And as I said previously he might be still here next year on that same salary taking up valuable Cap space which is even a bigger disaser.

But also doesn't change my point that Taylor doesn't seem to rate Cherry either, and from what I've seen from him so far this season, I can't argue with him..

To me this issue has got nothing to do with Wests/ Balmain and I am getting Jack of that continually raised as a reason for dysfunction and the lack of results.

Balmain has been dead for years, but it will be official in 3 days time.

To me they have been dead since 2000.

Wasn't at the game but Vossy gave the Tigers the edge on the crowd numbers...even if it was 50/50 I don't think it's too bad a result given our biggest off season signing was Tim Grant and you signed several superstars...

I was surprised to hear that Vossy estimated a 50/50 fan split. I was at the game and sent a text to a friend stating I thought that Parra had us in fan numbers aprox 60/40....he text back that Vossy made the 50/50 call. Not from where I was sitting though!

Hope Farrah improves on yesterday , his defence was great but the rest of his game was very poor i thought. 1st game back so i guess that is part of it , but he is looking very slow now.

Kevin Naiqama - I just want to give a big wrap to this bloke...There's been 40 or so posts since the game and not much of a mention of his performance...But I thought Naiqama was fantastic yesterday. He looked dangerous with the ball on a few occasions when nothing was really on, and he defended brilliantly against Jennings. Parra went that way plenty as it's the Jennings / Radradra side but Kev halted many attacking raids with great defense and great reads. This is backed up by his tackles stat of 21 tackles....the most of any back!

I don't want to be sticking up for the guy as my preference would be for him to move on, but he was stitched up by Tallis making public some off the record comments he made about Potter over a beer ( I doubt he is the first player to have a moan about his coach..)

Also I don't see that he is selfish by wanting the club to honour the contract that was negotiated in good faith by the previous administration ( he says that he took less money previously on the understanding that his final contract with the club would be backloaded).

He is entitled to that money, but hopefully during his last year ( 2017), he can be offloaded to England to help free up some space.

On the positive side, he was involved in the Teddy Raiders backflip decision... f**k knows what shape the Club would be in now if he had of left.

Great point about the "assist" in getting Teddy to backflip. In fact he should be credited with a try assist for each and every one of Teddy's tries. And yes....where would we be without Tedesco at the moment?

Farah isn't a liability & wasn't detrimental in losing y'day.We have much bigger problems in the fact that our no.7 is shithouse & the inconsistency of our no.6 who is yet to show reliability in guiding the team as he is the only one capable out of our massively over-paid halves.

I always though that it would have or could have been Matt Ballin used as a backrower when he was back because of his defence and based on the fact that Farah is the better 9 but MU maybe you are right and they could reverse it.

and Buffalo, I think it's a good lesson for all players going forward that you can and should have a club and new coach honour an existing contract, it's been done to death now but you cannot blame the player or manager for the failings of previous administration.

It was a mess. Brooks and & Moses were unable to step in and take control when needed. This was highlighted by the amount of hit ups taken by forwards into waiting defense while in the oppositions 20 meter zone.

It was also a pretty public statement made to Farah he was in no way to be the one running the show in the days leading up to the game.

Add to this operating with one less forward due to concussion to Grant and Supercoach's ground breaking 3 hooker strategy and we never really had a chance.

I guess all we can do now is wait for Ballin to return and unleash the four hooker strategy!

It was the centre’s turn this week as he came up with two impressive try assists to Jayden Wheelhouse and looked dangerous at all times with the ball.

So we have had a centre, winger, fullback, lock and prop make the NSW Cup team of the week in 4 rounds of football. Hopefully JT gets to these games

As far as the rest goes , Rankin is just scraping in , Buchanan should not be on our books as a player in any capacity , regardless of grade . Jesus Christ he is absolutely f**ked! , i cant say it any nicer. Lovett is a worker but is ragdolled in every tackle and is going to make a game deciding error or miss tackle every week ! Chero would be learning more in State cup playing 80mins than wasting a reserve spot .

Is it just me or did they play a lot flatter this game against the Eels? I have to watch the game again but it seemed like the Eels rush defence really cut down the time of the halves which would have been somewhat alleviated by standing deeper. That or the Eels were offside the entire game.
