It is all about the long term future success of the team. No one at the Club is buying into this. The coach is interested in maintaining a squad he has confidence in. He selects and supports players that show him loyalty - blindly following instructions is the way to win favour with Mary.

When the old boys club is disbanded and a new structure is put in place, we will again have confidence in the people managing the Club. Oh for the days when most fans and supporters did not give a dam about club politics, board decisions, even coach selections. We just wanted to see our Dragonss win and supported the players and the Club without reservation.

Hope Mary watched the 2 debutants for the Bulldogs yesterday. Still can't work out what the risk is to play Kerr over Latimore. It is not as if Latimore is playing big minutes and kerr has far more upside in getting NRL experience
I have to disagree .Yes Larimore is no supersub .but he does his job .hes very safe makes very few mistakes .But your entitled to your opinion .i just disagree at this time Kerr has a mistake or two in him ,yes he's probably marginally better if you take away his mistakes.

Waterboy will not offend his senior players by sacking them & risking chatter in the sheds.

His loyalty program would fall apart.

Remember the camera panning to a sulking & sidelined Aitken in the Bronco semi?
His reinstatement over Lomax to the #3 was a callous indication of the sabotage being inflicted on Zac

Pay sacked 5 & got immediate results. McGuire sends Reynolds to CC.
It’s called selection integrity for the team’s balance & future

Lomax won’t even make the bench manana - he’s too much of a threat to the Chosen Ones, who are having to play now for their positions every game as the pressure ramps up.

The chaff will settle eventually, & history will view this period with a wry smile

On Foxsports, They have our predicted team for this week up. It has Rava dropped. Dufty fullback, Lomax wing and Robson on the bench. It doesn't have Frizell there.

OD fair enough but Latimore may well be a better player now but he won't get better and Kerr needs NRL time to get better. The potential is that he will be a far better than Latimore ever was which will mean benefits to our team. At least 6 - 8 NRL games this year would be nice.If he fails completely than the fall back is Latimore anyhow.

I watched a lot of the Bulldogs vs TIgers game.

Seeing we are talking wingers. We are trying to unearth big fast wingers. Then the dogs winger with the long hair (Ofahiki from memory ) wow just offer him Nene money or more. Somehow the Dragons just can not find a big fast winger for love nor money, but dogs sure have two beauties with a new dynamic fullback. They will go very well from here.

No it doesn’t has rava on the wing and Lomax on the bench what were you looking at ?
Dragons predicted team: 1 Matt Dufty, 2 Jordan Pereira, 3 Euan Aitken, 4 Tim Lafai, 5 Mikaele Ravalawa, 6 Corey Norman, 7 Ben Hunt, 8 James Graham, 9 Cameron McInnes, 10 Paul Vaughan, 11 Jacob Host, 12 Tariq Sims, 13 Blake Lawrie. Interchange: 14 Jeremy Latimore, 15 Zac Lomax, 16 Korbin Sims, 17 Luciano Leilua.

It isn't as Frank says. But I also misread what you wrote due punctuation or missing punctuation.

Team tips: Knights fullback Connor Watson is a chance to return after sitting out the Round 3 clash with Canberra. Newcastle coach Nathan Brown originally put utility Kurt Mann to the back, but switched Kalyn Ponga from five-eighth mid-game. Ponga is set to stay at fullback — meaning if Watson is fit, he’ll slot back into the five-eighth spot. Gareth Widdop’s shoulder injury opens the door for Matt Dufty to return to fullback and Zac Lomax to retain his spot on the bench as an outside back cover.

Jayden Okunbor - 22 years old, 108Kg, 196cm. I have watched him play a few times and I thought his games were of mixed quality. He scored 8 tries from 25 appearances for the Canterbury ISP side last year. Ran for 214 metres on the weekend. Hope he does well - just not against us.
