Garner seems like an odd one to call out for criticism. He wasn’t worse than any of:

Who will replace Leota? I agree that he is severely underwhelming but we are thin in the front row. Papalii is an absolute pumpkin and when we have just 1 injury in the forwards Eisenplod is on our bench.

Geyer is an absolute plod 2nd rower. Last year he got carried by an Super Elite team.

This year we cannot afford to carry bums but for some reason Ivan thinks we still can.

We are going no where as it is.

You take a punt on someone like Patea for a week, hope it gives the kick up the arse that Moses needs.

So too Tago, We need both to be a force this year but we need them to be a liability to get to that stage

I understand fans having opinions, but we have to be realistic and there has to be players in the lower grades whose performances are so outstanding they are worthy of replacing the likes of Tago who is the number one whipping boy.

I think if Ivan was going to make a huge call around TAGO and I don’t think he will the only realistic option is Kepaoa. He is the only alternative backline option at this stage. I like Sam Lane but there’s absolutely no way Ivan is going to swap in Lane for Tago.

The only alternative three quarter line without TAGO would be Kepaoa, Alomoti, McLean, Jenkins as it currently stands if you are in the TAGO out camp. I stick with TAGO.

We aren't winning with Tago, So what harm is it to mix it up?

Tago needs to move into the pack if he wants to remain in the NRL. Bench second rower who can slot into the centres if needed. Though he does it in NSW Cup for the next month or so atleast. He is dumb, his defence is terrible and his discipline is terrible.

He is shit 75% of the time now. We can’t keep sticking with shit performers because we aren’t getting results.

Jack Cole. He is solid with good moments at his best. But mostly he is average. I think his spot is utility. Solid with good moments filling in for injured players or giving Kenny a rest.

Matt Eisenhuth. Why? Bloke is never actually good. Like ever. There is never a redeeming moment for him that makes up for his errors and penalties / set restarts he seems to give away. His runs couldn’t knock over a toddler. He runs like he is in quick sand.

Brad Schneider. He is the worst half on the field literally everytime he plays. He is slow at everything he does and he cripples the attack. He can tun decently but his one run comes at the expense of every player on the field being 50% less effective. Attack ceases to exist with him on the field.

Laurie does some great things. Then he does some incredibly dumb shit that costs the team so much. Not even mistakes which cost us. But he makes a decision that was incredibly stupid and his decision costs us

Leota is letting our pack down. We needed him to lift. He has been awful.

Smith was arguably our worst player last night to the point of looking like match fixing. What the f**k was he doing? He gets a pass because he is regularly one of our best, but dear god he is the reason Cowboys were in that match. We had gotten ontop and he threw away two attacking sets to relieve pressure than he gave them a fresh set to score a try immediately after and give them the momentum.

whats worse is we are throwing away wins against the weaker teams and Ivan is sticking by guys who have been doing it for so long.

Meanwhile our best effort came against Storm and a huge part of that was Blaize Talagi who did so well on debut for us. Only to get axed for a guy who has never been good for us and missing out to guys who have been shit for so long its almost as if Ivan doesn’t want go win anymore. Which he obviously does, but I just cant figure out how Ivan can make decisions that are so obviously wrong.

Poor old Garns copping a stray from @Frankus. Least of our problems IMO. If anything I think the international back rower on the other side of the field needs to step up. Has 15 mins of quality a game and then isn’t sighted again. Looks in decent touch too.

Talagi needs a crack at 6, and I think our 14 needs to be back up hooker, or maybe Cole if BT is 6. Kenny looks a shell of himself this year compared to last.

The problem with a 9 is then we are short a back if they go down.

Cole or Blaize should be the 14. Both could handle some 9 to give Kenny a breather.

Kenny, Martin are examples of why I can't blame the changeover of the roster as a factor. They play at 2024 level we are probably sitting at 3-2 or something and in a decent position

They are our biggest issues. The right side letting in linebreaks and tries

The middle being soft in defence and making dumb errors.

If we had those areas right then Laurie's errors aren't so costly and is why we could hide them better last year
