Ivan likes a small bench. Sele and Leota are good defenders. Not sure how much gametime Fuimaono will get

It's truly unbelievable that Flash is still playing today. I remember when he left people thought he had 2 or 3 years left.

Yet 7 seasons later he's still running around and the injuries that plagued him seem to have been left behind. 250 games is pretty awesome and moreso that it's against us. Although I hope its a bad night for him.

Cody Walker and Damien Cook would be pretty handy right now.................
Indeed. Two blokes who didn't hit their straps until the second half of their 20s, they either make it by 21-22 here or we move them on. We were far from alone in letting either of them go before they came good. Storm (twice), Titans (twice), and Broncos, all let Walker slip before the Rabbitohs saw the value.

Damien Cook is the most obvious one in recent times that we miss, given our current woes at dummy half.

Who started all the talk about Egan becoming the next Cameron Smith?!?

The problem is Cook really wasn't anything that special at a younger age.

He made his debut in 2013. Played 2 games. He played 7 more across the 2014 and 2015 seasonsm it was through that time where he showed potential before getting a proper start in 2016 at 24 years of age. Even then he bounced between bench and starting.

For all we know Wayde Egan could be a late bloomer too. Sione Katoa maybe... although he's in his 5th season with 36 games under his belt. I dont see him improving much.

Our problem is we cant afford to blow our premiership window waiting for these guys to develop... with no guarantee either does.
