You took the word out of my mouth SS!!

Looking at Sths tonight one would have to say that they are as good as any other side in this comp & are capable of building to a p/ship threat.
Seibold is allowing the players to play their natural games & players like Cook, the twins et al have lifted dramatically.
Madge was killing this club but this new bloke is a breath of the freshest air you could imagine!! How wonderful it is to see us playing expansive & entertaining RL.
The so-called heavyweights of this comp in the Storm,Cowboys,Broncos & the Roosters seem to be going backwards whilst Sths are on the up.This could be a real good year for us!
Seibold is bringing the best out of this side by utilising their talents to the max.
How did these lines get on here?? What happened--HELP!

I,loved Seibs press conference and how he said to the lads like George and Cook for example and the team in general that tonight means nothing unless you back it up next week and get better! Great mentality!!

Very good coaching!

I admit I was very doubtful about Seibs and he's showing me I should have more belief and confidence in what he is doing!

It's like a breath of fresh air!

Doueihi was fresh legs. I personally think it was silly to leave him on the bench for the whole game. Could've laid more points on in the end. Both teams were exhausted in the last 10 as well. You could've seen him break the line at will even though we were doing it the whole night without him.
Yea I agree mate and this is one thing about Seibs that I'm not a massive fan of. It's allgood having a utility player but to leave them on the bench the whole game is kind of a waste.

Anyway, I just love the passion that we're now playing with and it's so good to see. The boys look happy and energised too, I just hope we can keep it up for the whole season.

I understand that he wants the forwards fit enough to play the 80 in case an injury happens. That makes total sense to me. But in that 10 minutes Doueihi could of laid on a few tries and boosted our F/A majorly. Even giving cook a break would of been fine. He deserved one after that performance. Anyway not too fazed by it as we actually won lol.

As well as getting the forwards fit, he’s also trying to get AR fit. You build fitness in that last 10 under fatigue. I hate for us to go from a failed 2 hooker rotation to a the same situation with halfbacks. The person it’s hurting is Doueihi, not getting any minutes with either us or the Bears.

AR took it up a notch last night, the dummy kick, putting Sutts into a hole, pass was like being in time machine back to 2012. A few more games and his fitness levels will be back. Plus the goal kicking, wow. He is turning me from a doubter to a believer with each game back.

Yeah I get where you’re coming from but the amount of work that Cook did in that first 60 has to equate to easily 80 minutes game time. I mean I’m trying my best not to be a complaining merkin. I just figured Doueihi definitely deserved a run in that last 10 and Cook at least deserved a break.

That would of been a good option.

The so called stats on the NRL app surprise me. According to it the Twins, and Sutto ran more than Cookie. In fact Clarkie only ran 4m less than Cook and only played 55mins. They also only gave Cook 1 line break and 2 offloads, I’m sure he broke the line a ton of times. Unless my definition of line break is wrong. He did a shit ton of tackling though. Great game by him, build off of a brutally, brilliant, game from the Twins.
