The other consideration is Martin moving to prop as has been proposed many times. He’s a huge part of that broken right edge in defence and currently we need to stop leaking tries quickly rather than laying shots. Get Garner our best defensive edge forward starting on the right along with Alamoti and Kepoa.

I think the reason Papali'i has been used as a middle is he does not have the lateral movement to defend on an edge. We clearly already have issues there.

Its take risks like this or continue to do nothing and go nowhere.

People like to just attack us not debate the discussion.

Our edges are a disgrace.

That is why I am in the drop Tago camp. Not just him but Alamoti is wasted on the wing.

Cole/Blaize should be 6. The other centre.

Asu

Leading try scorer
Leading post contact metres
Most line breaks
Is 200m in front of the next player for metres gained

Jesse McLean is up there in those same categories.

We have NSW Cup going well, Bringing them in makes sense to try and get the season going

Yeo can play 80 but it's killing him with almost every other forward playing like a bitch.

Martin isn't close to earning his pay cheque
Yeo was below his usual last week and was shocking last night by his standards.

He needs to run the ball and stop laying off, he’s been a bit too predictable.

Martin’s game will improve when the team improves.

Martin should be lifting the team

Both of our edges are equally as poor.

I’m not sure what you expect will happen by taking out players and replacing them with even less experienced players who have spent less time playing in the team will achieve?

Milky was easily our best Cup back this season, he goes in, now people are calling for his head….

The team needs to stay together and figure it out… Simple

Because what is happening isn't a lack of talent thing. As I said earlier in the thread we still have a stacked team.
So what is wrong seems to be confidence or a poor attitude.

In which case spending a couple of weeks with some lower standard players could help.

As opposed to just waiting for it to click which doesn't seem to be working.

Yes Jenkins was and we got a few good games from him but he is still a NSW Cup level player.

No one is saying these guys are the answer or even long term players but this is what you have NSW Cup players for.

We are talking about 8 players not defending as a unit. Which of the 8 are you going to drop?? It’s easy to say the centres, because they always cop the flack when an edge isn’t defending well, but it’s never really that simple.

From I can see, Nathan’s defence has been just as poor as anyone, but we aren’t going to drop him.

Casey was just as bad as Tago last night, but he seems to get a pass because he’s young and learning, but still his edge leaks points…

Personally , I think putting lower standard players in will weaken the edge defence, not fix anything.
