Alvaro? Not even in the top 21 these days. Sorry Bazal but your love child is a plodder and even BA knows it these days and gone for next year, Unless traded to another club before June 30.

Stop sucking Terepos knob, fat prop man

Reckon it'll be a good close game, Eels 19-18. BA to tell Ferguson to trust his centre in defence and mark up on his winger. Same with Sivo to stand a little wider, otherwise it could get ugly.

At least we have your love child, Penis Torpedo, to cover that other guy you hate, Kevans. Luckily he got suspended so BA can’t keep picking him over Torps

Talking about that, with a few good props look how our team is doing now. I always advocated good big props and was never a fan of Terepo.

So you're wrong yet again, yet you think you're a footy genius. Remember first game of 2018 and our props then, which you lauded. I called that a poor team. So how did that year pan out? If you had your way our props would still be Alvaro and Mannah, and we'd be amongst the 10-16 teams, probably fighting for the spoon. Bloody brilliant!!

Well you seem very upset that I would pick Alvaro because he's more reliable than Terepo, which was my only point. Therefore by your own logic you are a Penishands knob sucker and he is your lovechild.

Shit taking only works if you're not a proven idiot

I hope DBrown, starts noticing the space and opportunity on his outside and gives early ball to either his centre or winger soon. He needs to take those opportunities. There have been at least 2 or 3 opportunities on his outside in each game so far that a quick pass would have stripped the opposition for numbers and led to tries if he had done so. This goes to a lesser degree for Moses too.

That doesn't mean we should not be up the middle and direct more often. We have been going lateral way to often, before we earned the right. This is a big part of why our attack hasn't been all that great. We need to stick to what works and with our big powerful overall team and faster play the balls, we need to work teams over more in this area.

Use our imposing size and skill with footwork and numbers going at the defense relentlessly up the middle 3rd and then when we get our nose through the line quick shifts to the outside. The space is nearly always out there or at least our outside men will be running at a one on one defensive line which means far greater chances of making something happen.

Lets hope that our attacking coach, whoever that is, can impress upon our boys to work harder up the middle to get the numbers right out wide.

Just my thoughts.

We had the same pack in 2018 that finished top four the previous year, plus added Evans who broke his arm in the off season. Our forwards weren't the problem that year, it was our culture. Plus our wingers were too small.

Except the middle period last week, I think we’ve been playing very direct. Last week we got frustrated early and tried to go around them. But then we reset and drew their defenders in better. As frustrating as last week and the Tits game were, I reckon they show we are bit more a legit 80 minute team looking to outlast teams rather than blow them off the park. I agree there are opportunities to have a crack early, but erring in the favour of building pressure early is understandable

Moving the ball laterally without earning that right is not building pressure. That is the opposite of building pressure.

If Bazal built a team we would be sitting with the Titans.
I called for Mannahs head to roll years ago along with yourself and Ram. We knew that to win you need tough forwards who run hard and bust tackles.
Alvaro couldn't make the 21 even with injuries

Yeah but as I said, except the middle of last weeks game (and maybe the Dogs game way back when) we haven’t just been moving laterally. RCG, Junior and Evans (and Nrown last week) have been massive in getting us over the advantage line early. Then throw in Lane has been running lines back into the middle regularly. And then Moses, Drown and Gunco (when he plays off offload or dummy half run) have been running very direct.
We tend to only go lateral when we can’t cross the try line (even then I think we’re being more patient so far than in seasons gone past), like a heap of other teams, but then last week Kevans makes a straight run and almost scores, Nrown runs back behind the ruck and turns the game, Reed drops a grubber in under the posts and we get a repeat set and then all of a sudden when we do spread it, Blake is one on one with a rookie.
We’ve just got to get better at adjusting quicker in game to rush defence.
