Round 6 vs Sharks

The gummies had a near perfect first half against us a few weeks ago, wind at their backs, bounce of the ball and refs helping out. That won't happen again. I expect us to come out hard early on and dominate. They'll be nervous knowing that even with a good lead they're still not safe and if we can get points early that'll just make them more nervous and more likely to put on the risky plays and make mistakes. I can't see us losing this, they can stick Moylan, Duges and Holmes wherever they like, won't make any difference.

Saints 13+
They also spectacularly fell apart at the seams in the second half. That likely wont happen again.
I'm confident we'll get up but it will be closer than we think.

Looks like we have nudged the Broncos out of their Friday night TV slot too, since the NRL has more say in TV games. Does anyone else find the current draw strange with playing some teams twice in a few weeks and others only once?
Yeah, I think that it is wrong that clubs are playing each other twice in the first 5 and 6 rounds of the comp.

Totally agree here. Moylan and Duges are back. Val on the wing, Duges to centre and Moylan to FB. Hmm just a thought BV

No one said we didn’t defend brilliantly
The issue being raised is the toll that ultimately takes on the team by having players stretched for longer than they should be
You get away with it for a while but it ultimately catches up
Hopefully the rotation used against Souths is a once off
While we did defend well (you can only defend what’s in front of you) I don’t think Souths really threw that much at us...

They fell apart because we came back at them in the 2nd half and they panicked. They can't score points and they know it - 11 points a game so far and that includes a lot of penalty goals. They could only manage 1 try against Parra and 1 against the Storm ( despite Storms 15 errors and conceding 19 penalties ). If we're on our game we should win comfortably at home. The Sharkies gave it their all against the Rorters, made more metres, 4 line breaks to 1, good defensive effort but still lost by 18 points.
I'd be very disappointed if we lose this. Plus I'd love us and the Worriers to go into our Rnd 7 clash both undefeated.

This is going to be a very tough game.

We will need a fair share of the 50/50 calls to win.

If we beat the sharkies at WIN, their season will start to slip away.

Would love to see us trounce them.

Hopefully we start fast and the bounce of the ball goes our way early.

Saints by 4 in a dog fight.

Duges is back after missing the last two games (surprise, surprise) their backline shifting with the Kurnell tides, even the Bunker wont help them out in this one.
Dragons in the biggest score we’ve put on them for a long time.

We are 5-0 and he has a perfect opportunity to have both Host & Sele in the top grade.
If you can't do it now against a team that is struggling then when will he ever find a way to blood these blokes properly?
I sincerely hope he makes the late change and grasps the opportunity.
