Round 6 vs Sharks

Let me put it this way.
Do you think the coach really uses his younger players?
Sele won't get many minutes.
Host won't get a look.
Lawrie hasn't been considered.
Sure he is picking the strongest team, but lets be honest, Latimore was bought as a depth player on a one year deal yet he is keeping out a young player who is here for longer term.
Do you think the side would be less stronger without Latimore and have 2 younger playrrs there?
Jack Bird left the club because they could not guarentee him a start in NRL.
With the coach stuffing around all these young players, don't be surprised if they don't consider the same.
This is decidedly different from what you posted above.

I absolutely think that Mary is too cautious in his use of younger players. But that's not what I was talking about. Your initial post seemed to be criticising him for picking the team that he thought would win each week. (If I'm wrong my apologies). I may disagree with Mary's ideas of who the best team is, but I won't criticise him for picking what he thinks is his best team each week.

As a Dragons fan, I am happy to see Bukuya out for Sharks. That guy gives 110% every game against us, and usually breaks our line constantly. Big out for the scum.
Sheeze I will have to look him up, never heard of him.
not that I follow other teams players except for all the well known ones.

Bukuya, I will get onto it

Sad, very sad! I also am over Gasnier talking us down as well. What is with our former stars these days?
But should they have to tip us every week even if they think we may lose sometimes?

They are meant to give decent advice to people who are listening to their radio segments, Sowie does tip us most weeks.

It's good he will be wrong this week.

Along with contests against the Chooks and Melbourne, this game versus Cronulla will be a good indication where the team really is at the moment. Favourable results featuring lowly sides such as Gold Coast, Newcastle and Souths tend to provide a somewhat false sense of security.

The Sharks usually give SGI a hard time. I wonder if the Club has better success at Kogarah or Wollongong against this particular mob? Does anyone know?

Dragons by two. I've got a feeling that this one will be low scoring 'war' of attrition.

On another note, I hope Frizell fixes up his 'play-the-ball' as it's only a matter of time before he gets pinged again.

It wont be an easy match but Im quietly confident that we will win this one.....unlike the previous few years we are an 80 minute outfit now and have a lot of variation in our attack and some stiff defence in the middle.....to be honest I dont think theres any easy or easier games in the draw for 2018...even The Eels who are struggling have a formidable roster and once they click will be hard to beat

Brisbane are ordinary this year and won't make the eight.

Cronulla are very hot and cold.

While Newcastle have certainly improved, it's doubtful it'll qualify for the semi finals.

I think its clear to see where saints are "really at". The evidence is in the way they are playing. There are no weak oppositions anymore and we have won all of our games. Thats not to say that that won't change but I hate it when people say lets see where they are really at when they play the storm etc. Where are the storm at? They lost twice to tigers. So where are the tigers really at?

I think we have a good record against them in the gong.
5 or 6 to 1 in our favour.
But as it is going to be damp ( at least that is what the weather man suggested). I agree it will be close .
