Round 6 vs Sharks

I sincerely hope that the temperature drops rather dramatically before the game as I can see fatigue playing a big part in this match . Going by our previous meeting it is quite evident that the Sharks can score points by taking a 14-4 halftime lead in that game .
We certainly do not want the same occurrence this time , the Dragons need to come out with all guns blazing and put the Sharks on the back foot and make them earn every point they get.

The big plus that we have is that our engine room is firing on all cylinders and can do serious damage if allowed to run . The big disadvantage for the Sharks is they no longer have the services of James Maloney whom has saved them on previous occasions.
Once again a very hard fought game , but with James leading the way and our backs in great form I see a Dragons victory - by 6 . :flag_je:

I’ve loved our winning streak but every win gets us closer to a loss IMO. Has to happen at some stage and not confident about this one. Sharks will be up after getting spanked last week.

If we do get up, it will be a close one.
Are we now closer to another win or a lose? I think we are closer to another win.

Parra haven't won a game all year. I think they are closer to another lose than they are a win.

I expect to lose around 6 games this year, but which 6?

I really want to get to 18 to 20 points before we lose one.

And don't want to lose to scumulla, maybe I can cope with a loss to some team nicer.

Well said, OY’s.
I might’ve prepared to concede one during Origin but not now, not against the Narks, not at WIN, not tonight!
Love the team with the big redV.
Go Saints!!!!!!

I love the big red v too but I doubt they will be wearing it tonight.
Just hope we don't get conned into playing their style of drab footy and that we stick to our guns and attack them all over the park.

Along with contests against the Chooks and Melbourne, this game versus Cronulla will be a good indication where the team really is at the moment. Favourable results featuring lowly sides such as Gold Coast, Newcastle and Souths tend to provide a somewhat false sense of security.

The Sharks usually give SGI a hard time. I wonder if the Club has better success at Kogarah or Wollongong against this particular mob? Does anyone know?

Dragons by two. I've got a feeling that this one will be low scoring 'war' of attrition.

On another note, I hope Frizell fixes up his 'play-the-ball' as it's only a matter of time before he gets pinged again.
IcI don think Knights and Titans are lowly sides, although we disposed of Titans as if they were

Souths CERTAINLY aren't a lowly side. Each of their losses came from teams in the Top 4, they played well against us for the most part, and they dominated the Roosters

100%. Anyone who thinks Souths are a lowly side is kidding themselves. Tough forward pack, good halfback, some outstanding backs and one of the best hookers in the comp, and we handled them pretty well off a five day turn around.

Definitely, I believe our victory against Souths was our most positive of the year. Quality opposition who we stifled for most of the game, overcame their defending masterclass and most importantly, held off a fast finishing opposition for the first time in forever.

The fact it even got close was due to isolated errors from Leilua, a welcome change from the whole team collectively falling off letting a team back in
