Their next 3 games are against Bulldogs, GC and Canberra all at home.
When we play them in Round 9. it is very likely they will be in the 8.

Them, Sharks and Storm will make the 8. It is just who drops out that is the question

The Titans are a shot at beating them since theyre starting to gind a groove and the Cows are down on form.

Brian Too Man of the match on NSW Cup debut..So on the brightside the production line keeps going[/QUOTE

What is your opinion on Matt Burton and Charlie Staines from SG Ball squad?
I think they should both be signed up on long term deals.

Round 10 is when you can only start looking at this years ladder for team quality.

That does give hope. We just need our wingers to stay on their man. Much better than prior years

Can you give me our list of injured players. You're good at this stuff and I want to have a rant about something lol.

Staines has what you can't teach speed and footwork. Burton could probably be made into a centre if Blore or Luai step up into our next 5/8th in waiting.

Both should play Flegg later in the year then can judge easier

Phillips (round 10)
Sivo (any week now Hammy'a are hard to judge)
Blake 10 weeks
Jed ( any week now)
DWZ (round 7 or 8)
May ( training just waiting on clearance - round 8 the aim)
Cleary ( Round 11 is improbable round 12)
Browne ( 10 weeks)
McKendry (April next year)
Waddell ( Round 16)

So just watched last night's NRL 360.

Paul Crawley said Eels will be sweet as they came "within a fingernail" of beating Panthers with 3 of their players injured.

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F*CK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE, WE ARE PLAYING WITH THE BACK UP'S BACK UP.

Similar is made of Manly's outs. We have only have the 21 named fit yet not a word said

A lot of commentators and fans are forgetting there are only 25 rounds this year. Going 0-5 or 1-4 means it is even more difficult to get back into the 8. Back when there were only 22 games in a season going 0-5 would basically mean season over (which is how it looks for Parra to be honest).

Just watching the Eels game again. The first half is an 8/10. Got so much worse but if we do that first half(same as Cowboys 80 minutes) we should smash the Titans. Question is can they?

The structures in place look good, nice and simple + effort. Should be sustainable while we have injuries.

With the way JFH is terrorising playmakers and putting the higher paid middle forwards in our pack to shame, we can go a long way. He has gone to a level this season that I didn’t think he was capable of.

Its still 24 games. Only difference is 1 bye instead of 2.

It's really weird. Everyone else is "suffering terribly" when they get injuries yet we are "a top 4 team" as if we are full strength or something.
Its due to our depth we aren't perceived as struggling like some clubs that have loaded up on the main star players and are very skinny beyond that .

Because it's a fact that doesn't support the point he's trying to make. After 5 rounds individual results have had too much effect on the table. For example it's a fact to say that the Tigers have only played 1 team in the 8, but that ignores that Melbourne are only outside the 8 because they've lost to the Tigers twice. If they'd won those games you could say that Melbourne have had a soft run because they got the 10th placed Tigers twice. It's self fulfilling. Lies, lies and damned statistics.

Eels are 0/5 and last. Had we beat you guys twice then well....
I dont think the Eels are woeful or easy to beat.

We haven't picked a team to smash them. Our defence should see us home. I doubt we score more than 4 tries. Would you call that a smashing?

I expect to see a nice simple game plan of rolling ahead in the forwards (of which we've got 8 or 9 at a time really), with minimal spreading of the ball resulting in a very high completion rate. Our forward pack is our strength at the current time, and I believe it will win us this match.
