Round 6 vs Warriors

Calling it now warriors are our new hoodoo side which is frustrating since they're a very average and beatable side. They played their best game all year against us and we were very poor across the park apart from sims and mcguire who both played well.

There were two times in that 2nd half where we should have been given a penalty for a leg pull and a 2 on 1 strip but the refs must have missed it.

Warriors better. Can’t blame the ref when our attack was toothless & Dufty gifted them a try.

Clune was found out in defence and offered very little in attack, I worry what the Chooks will do to him next week.

Had a bad feeling all week that they would get to wrapped up on last weeks performance, have an eye on Anzac Day and for get there was a team to play in the middle... that’s a wasted 2 competition points... Duff Duff Duff and just don’t know what to think about this bloke .... annoying loss... need a beer

Some real basic errors and certainly not the same enthusiasm as the last couple of weeks . The Warriors took their chances and perhaps the refs could had been somewhat more impartial in their rulings .

Most disappointing result , the team owed the fans a better performance than what they dished out today .

Warriors comolete 100%.
Mamaluo looked like a bulldozer never seen him play that tough.
Dufty was rocks today.
Ball handling was poor
Kicked only twice for lomax.
two losses at kogarah..
Now the boys have to play chooks
If we lose that the good start all for zero.

Dragons have lost their last five against the Warriors . . Hopefully this slap up the side of the head will let the squad and long suffering fans realise what we are really . . ORDINARY!

Never got over the advantage line .... no pressure put on their 6 and 7 ... Stupid line drop outs in front by 2 and they do a short drop out .... they score .... Long way to go.... it was good while it lasted ......

Thoughts on today -
1) Matt Dufty is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.
2) The restart rule should go. Unless you have 2 refs onfield policing the ruck you can't get any consistency. We could have had 5 or 6 today - especially in the last few minutes when everything was on the line.
3) Sutton is the dodgiest ref in the current roster by far.
4) We missed Lawrie. Merrin was no substitute. The forwards were not as dominant today.
5) Fui / Rava / Bird / Vaughan / Lomax / McGuire were all great. Clune schemed and tried hard, Corey was back to normal ie pretty underwhelming.

I knew that was coming. Still we were in the position to win that game until the end so there hasn't been a game this year we haven't been competitive. McGuire was a great signing, he ripped in, Rava and Lomax also had good games. Again Dufty was our best half...
Against the Roosters I would be very very tempted to go a halves partnership of 7.Norman 6.Bird if Norman isn't injured. Bird just creates things out of nothing and doesn't get the ball in his hands enough at centre. Normans kicking game was pretty good today but he looked a bit lost in attack. Having Lawrie back will help a lot next week.

Cmon one loss and we were still competitive and if good enough chance still to win it based on our below average attack today, yardage and not as strong defence.
Wont be for zero we will be 4 out of 7. I would of taken that win / loss ratio before Round 1 and then jumped to Round 8.
Who knows with an injury plagued Roosters we just might be 5 out of 7.
