Michael has been the best centre in the game since 2013 IMO so that's a big call.

They're certainly a supremely talented family. There's no weak link in the trio.

Michael has average defence, A weak passing game and goes MIA in big games. It's why he will never be a true great centre.

This is just plain false, this used to be the case but not any more, his defence has vastly improved and he has no problem putting his winger away for tries

For example The 3 bombed tries against Ireland in the world Cup says otherwise

I will remember this come SOO time when he's no where to be seen. 3 tries from someone that has 100 NRL tries isn't someone playing will in big games
One of those tries he beat tackles from half the Queensland team. The problem is shit halves that don't create opportunities for our backs and more often then not ignore them completely.

Guys like Bird, Gallen, Williams etc. Wasting tackles with nothing hit ups in the attacking zone. None of our backs have had opportunity to shine outside of a bit of individual brillance. Give them space and some decent attacking plays and watch them carve up.

Really hope ET is good to go - But if he's out, Cartwright should have a blinder - I can see the dropping being a good kick up the arse and hopefully it'll fire him up for a top performance.

Michael did have slow start to his rep career but has become a more complete player since leaving us and has had a few great performances in big games. Scoring the match winner in the 13 grand final is a good example. Hes only 26 so still has plebty of time to establish himself as a top rep centre.

Robert showed lovely hands and positioning for the Smith and Simmons try. I dont care about comparing him to Michael, Robert is going to be a great cebtre for us.

Playing better in defense and lifting his work rate

He's not that type of player though should be like an extra half. Given how he played in NSW Cup I would say he was told to get more involved. Touched the ball every set made plenty of errors but played 80 mins

Yet he was fine to score 70 odd tries with rubbish halves for us. My point was to the Roosters fan was there's plenty Robert could potentially be better then Michael at. Time will tell
