Round 7 Team vs Titans

Seg regularly makes 30+ tackles. He was quiet because he was trying too hard. John went missing and Seg didn't have a big beautiful structured back line to pass to so he didn't look as good. You become a lot less dangerous when Nigel Plum has to step up at first receiver because your halfback is no where to be seen.

As with a lot of our injuries, hopefully the outcome will be that Anderson can come in and replace Kite and prove his worth before he comes back.

I thought I was the only one thinking Kimorly had a $1000 on the the Titans for a win.
That no try call he was almost screaming at the video ref to call no try.

I couldn't believe the bias shown by Kimmorley in his commentry of the game. We must of given him a touch up sometime in the past.

He is so unprofessional. I have noticed it before when he commentates on Panther's games. He needs to go to media school and learn how to commentate professionally.

Agree, he is painful to listen to also. Maybe that's why you don't see him on any of the other Fox footy shows.

I think his kicking game and direction has us win atleast 2 of the 4 games we have lost. We are an entirely different team when he plays.

We have been, but he's never been missing this long. By the time he comes back our confidence will be totally shattered, and we don't know how he'll play coming back from back surgery either. Don't think there's any chance of just picking up from where he left off.

We need sme experience back in side...I.e Simmons,Docker and I don't know who else but we need some senior guys back...I still rate Sam Anderson

The three of them were just drebbage. Voss has got to be the most overrated caller in the sport.

I would rather have root canal than listen to Ray Hadley the shock jock, but Hadley the league caller is far preferable to Voss, in my humble opinion. Obviously Channel 9 agree.

Certainly the forward pack could do with some authority, so I'd have Docker in for Cartwright at this stage. Provided Docker had a half decent game in NSW Cup. Something tells me that Docker is out of favour with the coach in a big way, though, Tim Grant style.

100% agree. I also noticed Plum at first receiver a few times. The only time we were really in the game was when Plum was on the field, which is pretty sad.

Realistic changes for the next game? John needs to go and Peach into the halves. May as well give Anderson a shot too

A couple of observations;

1. We were still in the game until the sin binning of Yeo which ironically came on the back of another inept finish to a set of six.
2. We were down two players in Mansour & Kite for half the game.
3. We were denied yet again by the officials of a fair try.
4. Isaac John simply not up to the job of being first receiver, does not possess even a half decent kicking game and I guess what I am trying to see is, he is not first grade standard.
5. Our only chance of competing in our upcoming games prior to the return of Soward & Wallace is to pair Moylan with Korisau and put DWZ into his best position at fullback.
6. BMM when fit and available must come into the side as he offers far more than quite a few of our forwards.

There a lot that could be said about our ineptness in attack, particularly on last play but it has probably all been said. It was pretty embarrassing to watch actually.

The ball went straight down to the ground. That's a knock on any day of the week in my opinion.

John played OK last week I thought, and was a reasonable half/five-eighth for us in 2013. He had a knee reconstruction? Players frequently take ages to properly recover from these things. That might be his problem.

He was chosen over Blake Austin to be the halves back-up at the end of 2013, a decision that seems ludicrous now.

With Soward (hopefully) only a week or two away I don't expect Cleary to start putting Moylan or Peachey into the halves now. The time for that was a month ago but to be honest I wouldn't have done it either. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Docker was a late inclusion in NSW Cup, but was sick after the warmup and didn't play.

Wallace isn't back for another month. I think its time to give Moylan the shot. Its absolutely clear that he will be there soon and we are barely keeping our head above water at the moment. Its not like we don't already expect him to run the attack.

Cleary said Taylor, Brown & Whare may return. Soward he wouldn't commit to a date. Sounded like weeks.
I think Soward might come back after the rep bye.

At least those guys plug our defensive issues to an extent. We arent going to win games with attack until Soward comes back so Cleary needs to get them grinding out wins like we were at the back end of last season.

BMM for Cartwright (showing nothing). Docker for Kite (injured). Simmons in for Mansour to partner up with Whare. Dallin to Fullback. G. Jennings to wing.Moylan to 5/8 play the 5th tackle plays. Api to half.
