On another note . Regarding the teddy pantsing and tv coverage of said bottom.

Zero complaints from me!!! 😜

A good win by the boys but some shoddy ruck defense had us on the back foot far too often. Still was gratifying to see that the boys never gave in and keep bringing off some last ditch tackling to thwart the Chooks. Turned out a bit of a thriller. That is now two on the trot Dragons..

If one of our guys makes that tackle, sin bin and 6 weeks suspension.

Tupou head high tackle, same thing.

Obvious bias from the referee

Manu knock on, obvious.

If the referee applied the rules the way they are applied to Saints, we are playing 12 men for 20 minutes.
Yep totally correct, so I'm fully expecting for JWH to be suspended for 6 weeks then, just like McGuire and Fui, oh wait he wasnt penalised or put on report and our non bias commentators said it was just bad luck for Su'a, hmm but we dont have favorable calls for elite teams just ask Mr Annesley.

Even though Saints won the game, I am still very disappointed with the refereeing.and have to day that this needs to be addressed.

The Roosters were standing offside in the second half.
The hit on Ravalava deserved at least 10 in the bin.
The Roosters were slow off the talked player many times during the game which should have been 6 again to the Saints.

First game i've been to all year and what a way to spend it.
Congrats to the boys for digging deep in the 2nd after a great 1st half.
Plenty of dodgy stuff in the 2nd but seriously, when is the nrl going to sort out this non bias BS that is plain to see with high shots? If compared with Sua's against Panthers, surely it is at least 10 as well. Or is it ok of its a winger who commits the crime barring Rava?
Fantastic win with all reffing things considered!

you I sat and watched Annesley say that top end teams dont get favorable decisions, I could think of at least 10 calls especially in the second half where they even were not a 50/50, they were dead set penalties. I wonder what he will have to say this week.

Not to mention the chooks got a tonne of 6 agains when we hardly gave any away lately week...

If you're going to have a siege mentality I guess ANZAC is as good a day as any to do it. But, when you're the worst defensive team in the comp it's not very bright. Poor effort from Hook, the die with it on the 6th plays, just stupid, not even in the spirit of the game and shows no confidence in your playmakers. Thank Godzilla the boys were up for it, by all rights a game they should have lost, given the risky game plan and a very dodgy refereeing display - the NRL need to explain wtf happened out there. Was it just me or were Rooster players flopping in elbow first in tackles, just one of the things that needs looking at.
Also a shout out to those pricks in the commentary team especially Gould apologizing or making light of the Rorter infringements e.g. hip drop, vicious coat hanger (one of the worst high shots this year), ref ignoring ruck infringements.

Well said mate. If it's done by the favoured team, nothing to see here.

does anybody on here think that JWH's tackle on Su'a was a hip drop tackle or was it my imagination ???

The whole reason that type of tackle was outlawed was because of the type of injury Su'A suffered today.

Plenty of those tackles have been penalised and put on report and even suspended even without causing the very type of injury they are meant to be targeting.

Yet when a player suffers exactly that injury, nothing... crickets...

It's farcical.

The Roosters got a hugh gippy up today and still couldn't win it. Great win by the Dragons.

To be fair Kit66 Hook and Hunt explained it in the press conference, they just didnt want to give the chooks the ball from unstructured play, worked in the first half and didnt work in the second, then again you cant say we had any share of penalties , 6 agains or anything, so that made it look even worse than what it was.

What a gutsy, gutsy win against all odds and most peoples beliefs

however enjoyable it is to beat the Roosters especially on such an emphatic occasion it’s hard to overlook the negative way the dragons play makers fail to capitalise on field position by ineffective (or should I say no last tackle kicks) IMO they make it sooooooo hard on themselves. I feel like this inability to close games out isnt an entirely new trend although today was especially poor. It has been there Achilles heel for sometime. It’s so counter productive and there is many many examples but off the top of my head was a last minute semi final loss to the rabbits.
Anyway I’m remaining positive and hopefully this is addressed and the team continues to defy the odds.
