There should be four bench forwards THIS week. Having Ravalawa a reserve makes zero sense.

What does McIdiot have against Kerr?

Must’ve been a massive dummyspit for Rav to be kept on the bench

And the chess pieces keep moving Turnstile’s inevitable way

Or you could say that the first domino has fallen lol

I’m disappointed Mitchell is starting at centre where he’ll cause havoc. I would have preferred him at 5/8 where he’d be easier to handle.
I’m also tipping the first penalty to go against us for lying in the ruck after Annersleys comments the other day.

So now we’ve got a winger & one that’s still learning the game who can only play wing on the bench:thinking:.
Well it’s obvious that there’ll only be 16 players used. Why would you not have another forward or a utility X factor instead:weary:

Possible scenarios here:

1. Rava doesn't get any game time
2. McGregor hooks Lomax and replaces him with Rava after 1 mistake or missed goal kick
3. McGregor hooks Aitken after Mitchell burns him, moved Lomax to centre and Rava to wing
4. McGregor hooks Dufty after dropping a few bombs, moves Lomax to fullback and Rava to wing.

Both coaches trying out-fox the other.

Mitchell at centre is a worry...
Exactly.
Robinson has been blooding Lam from the bench in readiness for a starting position so he obviously thinks he’s ready especially in such a big game. From what I’ve seen of him he goes ok.

Well for all those members who want Aitken at 3, you've got your wish. Now just sit back and look how Mitchell teaches him a lesson and how wrong Mary really is. It is all too risky, should have been Rav and Lomax on the right, Aitken on the left.

I’m picking options 1or 2

I’ll go for 3) followed by 4)

With Lam at 5/8 its a perfect time for Sims to deliver some well timed hits on him, that will surely get him nervous and may cause a few errors in our favour.

I didn’t see the Lomax wing spot coming but am happy he gets a start. It’s a shame he hasn’t gotten more game time under his belt to prepare him for this.
As for Rava on the bench, I totally agree with those saying carrying a back on the bench isn’t really necessary. It doesn’t matter though because that 17th player is hardly used.

3 is conceivable but perhaps beyond any tactical nous Mary has displayed in game.

Therefore 1 is most likely, imo...

Im happy for Lomax as well mate, but on the wing , in such an emotional game. One bad play and his confidence is shattered if he plays on the wing.

Latrell is a freak. He teaches every opposite number a lesson. He taught the Storm a good lesson last week.

Absolutely. Going up against one of the better kickers in Cronk will be a hell of a challenge. More game time would have been better but given our bench strategy that is just wishful thinking.

Coach most likely looking for 80 out of 2 of the back 3 if not all 3 of them then the 3 forwards on the bench rotate for the props and if going pearshsoe move Frizz into the middle
Strange tactics as he could have had 4 forwards on the bench and made it easy in himself.
