Not allowed if th
If I was the Panthers coach or an influential figure at the club, I would demand that players put Penrith first and not play Origin this year to prioritize salvaging some credibility from our season but if the losses continue, the NRL season will be a bust, and our rep players will probably be more motivated by playing Origin than for us. I've never been a fan of Origin whenever it has affected our playing strength, so I hope that our players don't get picked because pretty sure they won't refuse selection even though I would if it came down to helping us make the 8 or not.
no allowed if they don’t play the will be stood down the next game by the nrl

I think Ivan's done well here. The edges had to change and he's done it in a way the gives Tago a shot at cementing a role he will likely be better at (given his frame, decision making and fitness levels) and gives Garner a well deserved shot at a starting spot. Casey has been given more time to cement his role, as has Blaize who would have hardly been replaced by someone who was bashing the door down. You could argue Kepaoa for Jenkins but Milky was also destroying cup prior to his call up, hasn't exactly had stability himself in FG and either one would only be keeping the spot warm for Bizza anyway.

I don't think there's anyone who could genuinely feel aggrieved here, which is impressive given changes had to be made in the wake of a 1-5 start.

Is this the first time Spencer Leniu has faced the Panthers?
Should be interesting if it is. Might put the fire in our guys bellies that seem lacking in 2025.

A great interview by Mitch Kenny.

he didn't shy away from any questions eit
What an impressive interview. Besides being harder than diamond underpants, he is articulate and thoughtful as well.

I thought the club did well. That put up their most impressive player when it comes to interviews and conversation.

This interview has given me hope. Will it happen soon enough for the team to gain top 8 or even top 4. I have no idea.

I do know this......the club, coaching staffs and players are doing their darnest to turn this season around.

My advice......hang tough.

Just goes to show where this side's real strength has always been. The mentality, maturity & patience of Cleary, Edwards, Kenny, Yeo and previously Luai is what has allowed the team to execute their gameplan with maddening consistency. Hopefully having all of these guys on the field for the full game will help bring the mentality required to just get teams into a grind and play the game on our terms. I'd love to see 3-4 ratshit boring games in the next stretch while we stabilise and focus on getting some connection and confidence happening in defence.

You’re crazy.

To be fair though. Neither is a great option. Though our only win of the season we had Garner at centre.

Our issues on the right stem way deeper then tago.

Hes out of form.. and way beyond his best.

But for me pick players in their position.

If that means kepoa gets a shot so be it but garner isnt a better centre then tago. Thats a fact.

Anyway. Whatever happens we need to get the 2 points..

I dont care how messy it is..we just need a win
