We dont get too political in these parts, but its a well managed forum.

You dont get swamped or deleted for having a view like orher places, but we are more footy orientated.

Some of the folk here are a little slow, but youll get used to it.

Just on the ref, Kenny probably should have been binned, but I thought the other incidents were all fine. Cleary never changed his line and had his eye on the ball the entire time, the Roosters player runs at him and flops dramatically. Similarly Edwards holds his line, only braces himself for the impact of Tedesco literally charging at him and flopping dramatically. Both times the Roosters player was playing for the penalty, so its nice to see the officials acknowledge that.

And here it is.

Sobbo and Teddy made enough noise about Butcher hurting his soft knee in a sideways tackle and Mitch Kenny is going to get 2 weeks.

Absolute joke now being penalised for tackling legs.
If I am the club, I defend this grading/suspension, it is an absolute farce.

Trent Robinson makes me sick, his press conference was not a surprise.

Robinsons tears are a cherry on top of that performance

i didn’t notice it during the game, certainly nothing intentional in it and he seemed to be coming from the side.
I doubt he will win a case though, I think the refs are feeling the pinch this week with missed head highs ect.
Not many charges get downgraded and an overturned case will just add more confusion to the hip drop mystery.

If that was not an attack on the referees integrity then nothing is. He did choose his words well, BUT, the hint of a suggestion that the ref is bias is just another way of saying.....cheat.

Goes against everything the NRL said years ago, the charges definitely relate to an injury nowadays.

I'm almost as big an MMA fan as a footy fan and I can tell you that the NRL has no f**king idea what a "Hip Drop" is. The only ones that should even be considered to be penalised are if the attacker's momentum has been completely stopped then then a defender drops straight down. At this point the NRL has pretty much banned tackling from behind which is ridiculous.
