You get a team that has a Pat Mata'utia instead of a Joey Leilua. A Trent Hodkinson instead of a Tyrone Roberts. A Tariq Sims instead of a Joey Tapine even.
Basically you get a team that can't actually create anything. We already struggle so much in attack. At the very least Uate bends the line, earns penalties, generally finishes off a good move.
I'm happy for the future not to include Aku, but if it means a team of 'solid' Mata'utias and Hodkinsons then I don't think people should get too excited.
That right there. That's why I can't accept our halves. Mullen had soooooo many options, and time, it was all set up for him to guide us to a repeat set or a genuine chance. And he just kicks it at Tapau. There's no vision or composure at all after all these years.
