Just looking at the replays, I've got no idea how the commentators or anyone else is saying Ross didn't bounce that ball. It's a bit blurry, but the separation is there.

I reckon about 3/4's of the tries he's accused of letting in, every winger in the NRL lets in every day of the week. Our entire right edge is stupid, it doesn't just start and end with the guy asked to shut down 2 or 3 players.

You see every try scored on our right edge as Uate's fault. It's just not true, it's not even close to true. He's not a good defender, but when shit is always breaking down inside him, as a bad defender he's not going to be able to shut it down. McManus wouldn't do much better against the spreads he's faced with most weeks coming at him.

Your right, he is not a good defender.

Either way, with luck, Brown will have the team he wants by the end of next season. Uate won't be part of it.

I wouldn't think so, he's obviously not worth what we're paying him. There's no argument there.

I've said it seriously and been shot down in flames. But show me what Hodkinson brings. He is absolute garbage. At the very least Tyrone would sometimes do some nice things with the ball. Hodkinson is as much of a halfback as James Graham.

Hodko and Roberts are both sh!t and i would not feed either of them.

I would have neither and rather they brought up Lamb and see how he goes.

Nuffy hit up into a wall with seconds until halftime. We let him score.

That half sucked, I don't care that we're only down by 4. We had the wind, we had a man up, we had chances, we had field position.

But we do nothing when we have the ball. We are so horribly pedestrian in attack. Gagai and halves offering literally no danger to the opposition whatsoever.

Honestly I think if you put the Cowboys or Broncos spine in our young inexperienced team they make the top 4. There's just enough effort in the forwards to work with, but we don't have any skill in our team to take advantage of any dominance or momentum that we gain.

Hard to do anything when we keep knocking the ball on.

Yeah those blokes on Fox who have been around footy all their lives, player origin and test footy, have just proven they need their eyes tested stating it was a try. Kevvie Walters still can't believe it was a no try.

You actually take the word of the "experts" like Matt Shirvington or Kevvie Walters? Most NRL "experts" are no better than skeepe at analyzing a game - and I certainly can't assume that they're watching the footage on equipment as good as I am, with a stream as sharp as mine. They're less interested in game analysis and more interested in maintaining viewer interest in a dour, horrible, shitty game of football.

Uate drives me insane too but I also think it's important to note what happens when you replace all these guys who are a bit rocks and diamonds with guys who are 100% plod.

You get a team that has a Pat Mata'utia instead of a Joey Leilua. A Trent Hodkinson instead of a Tyrone Roberts. A Tariq Sims instead of a Joey Tapine even.

Basically you get a team that can't actually create anything. We already struggle so much in attack. At the very least Uate bends the line, earns penalties, generally finishes off a good move.

I'm happy for the future not to include Aku, but if it means a team of 'solid' Mata'utias and Hodkinsons then I don't think people should get too excited.
