Seems to be a lot of panic here for a team thats only lost 1 game....

We have 2 injuries
Kenny - to be replaced by Lussick
Martin - to be replaced by Henry
Cogger the #14 on the bench

No need to rest anyone - we have byes coming up for that.

SOO players (probably only Yeo, Cleary, Too and maybe Edwards) will be rested through reduced training as per the last few years.

Yeah but you're forgetting it's been a soft draw so far. They haven't played a single team above them on the ladder........ I'll see myself out.

I looked at last years ladder and broke the team we play into two halves; top 8 (effectively top 9 teams not including us) and the bottom 8. All but one of the teams we have played this year have been in the former group. And the Eels came 11th.

They should rest some this week whoever decided to play in those conditions is a moron.
It was the Dolphins desperate attempt to destabilize us, and it almost worked.

Weve had a horror draw to begin the season and done some travel as well.

As opposed to the Broncos who played their first game in NSW just this week, or the Tigers who have had a relatively soft draw. The ladder should "normalize" in the next month

No panic. Its more what occurred in Darwin. Brandy has come out and said both teams could be feeling the effects for weeks.
A few player rotations and some less minutes might help the next few weeks.

It would be a good time to give Henry or Patea a run off the bench if they are fit. Give someone a rest, maybe sorro. The blokes 33 coming off that brutal conditions.

I reckon the Darwin thing is being overblown. They've got 9 days recovery. I'm sure the coaching team would be across it if it was an issue and would ensure training load is reduced.

Funny that hey. Before a ball was kicked off this season the stats and experts had our draw as the toughest.
Roll on 7 weeks and we've bashed the toughest and now we have apparently done it easy because they're all out of the 8, bar Cronulla.

Journo's are definitely not experts...

Half of them don't really watch games. Seen the Dally m judging? oof.

Are IV drips legal in the NRL? Every player should have been on one laying in bed that night

Might be a bit extreme but they definitely had to be careful especially with the game being faster this year.

Teams are going to be travelling to Port Moresby every other week in a few years.
