Its just a gap-year, brought on by previous dedication to smug, the finest footballing era in modern league history.
Your season is pretty much a dumpster fire that cant be easily extinguished.
You need to balance your expectations.
Plus the dogs went down, thats some consolation for you.
The ref was well under par imho too.
Youll be Ok.
You wanna know why the crowds are shit at commbank I took my young bloke 2 general admission tickets behind the goal post 1 adult 1 child $70 it was $45 adult $25 child

Not only thatIvan ball no longer works with this mediocre roster and hence we are in the spoon position after 8 rounds. It worked before when we had the sufficient class and experience to grind out games. Now there’s too many players who lack the smarts, intensity and the skills. Nathan is also really struggling without the support he was used to getting. Dyl is also playing more like 2019 form and we all know that ain’t pretty.
The retention and recruitment team have a lot to answer for letting the likes of Crichton, Luai, Fisher-Harris go and replacing them with nuffies.
I'm unsure they'll be ok. Ageing squad and no salary cap space is a recipe for disaster.
I am starting to think its a bottom 5 side that needs a complete rebuild. Id say Too and Nathan are the only ones left from the dynasty era and when they challenge again.
Don’t be surprised when the new stadium is complete and the prices start to roll out. Won’t be pretty compared to the old Panthers facility. You wanna know why the crowds are shit at commbank I took my young bloke 2 general admission tickets behind the goal post 1 adult 1 child $70 it was $45 adult $25 child
What we saw last night was a lot of attack was generated down the Panthers left edge aimed at Talagi, did a couple of tackles which commentators praised but missed so many. He’s ok close to the line as there’s cover, but 20 metres out he’s a liability , left on the ground far too often. They'll be ok because they have retained the brains trust that delivered the goods at first instance behind the scenes.
Ivan, Peter Wallace etc. Theres still cracking youngsters around, they just need to hit the gold with the combinations.
The club is much more agile and alert without Gus's dead hand and ethically they are in a far better place than a few years ago.
My friend in the Panthers camp seeks patience and understanding.
Yeo is a once in a generation player and will be impossible to replace. Dylan is womderful but not the force of nature he used to be.
Its the salary cap in action, a tide they cant hold back. They just need to swim gently to shore and rest.
His defence will be fine, he’s already streets ahead of where he was last year. Just takes some time to train the Parramatta out of him. What we saw last night was a lot of attack was generated down the Panthers left edge aimed at Talagi, did a couple of tackles which commentators praised but missed so many. Going to take time to fix that side of this game, in the meantime he won’t be a major asset. He’s a good kid so hope he improves there.
Hope he does get better, to be honest he was much the same at the Eels. The comments from Parra fans that he was a complete turnstile should be taken with a grain of salt , that happens when a player moves on.His defence will be fine, he’s already streets ahead of where he was last year. He’s really impressed me, which isn’t easy to do.
Cole learns nothing playing 10mins a game. Better off playing 80 in cupTalagi looks much better in attack then cole.
Cole is much better in defence then talagi.
Both have much to work on.
We looked 100x better at periods when sommo was at 9 compared to brad. Brad tired hard and hes a strong defender.. shame he kills everything in attack.
Wed need a miracle to scrap into the 8 from here. Some of our guns need to step up. Our pack lads power and leg speed.
Next week.

Actually Critta gives us hope. Remember the bath he got from Waqa Blake in his first season?Nathan has been quite poor and Martin has also dropped off.
We were spoiled by Critta because he could make excellent reads and tackles even when defenders around him stuffed up.
He was a little like an exceptional first slip, who you could put at 1 1/2 slip knowing he could cover 1st and 2nd.
At times it was almost like we had another defender out there.
But not 40km away from your home ground! It happens. My team had to spend 2 years playing out of Henson Park (1986 and 1987) until the original SFS was built, and then out fo the SCG when the current one was built. Its not fun, but Penrith are not the first one to go through it I'm afraid.

The last three seasons I’ve bought a box. I hate to think what that will cost in the new stadium! This is what I feared the most. We had extremely reasonable pricing for GA and Bronze season tickets. My guess is that it will double.
